| Apple Watch+Bose Frames=Awesome Posted: 03 Aug 2019 06:46 AM PDT As a specialized hauler (oversize loads, specialized equipment hauling, etc) I like to listen to music while chaining,unchaining loads, walking, etc but need to keep my ears unblocked so as to be ale to hear that forklift or car that is moving nearby. It's also good to be able to answer incoming calls while keeping my hands free. Earbuds/headphones are just dangerous in these situations and I dislike having anything in/on my ears when I am sweating. I recently purchased two pairs of Bose Frames, I put clear prescription lenses in one and prescription sunglasses lenses in the other. Paired with my Apple Watch they're a fantastic solution. They sound good (although they lack bass), and Controlling them via the Apple Watch is super easy. Anyone else using Bose Frames with their Apple Watch? [link] [comments]  | ||

During podcasts, sometimes it's nice to scan ahead a minute using one of the buttons on the podcast program. However, each time I need to do so on my Apple watch, my podcast screen has been replaced by the native run tracking program and I have to switch between programs. Not the end of the world, but with sweaty/wet hands, it's several more tricky steps. Is it possible to keep the podcast screen active on my watch so that when I bend my elbow to use my watch, the podcast screen is the first thing I see each time? Is there any way to do so? Now I'm interested in getting into the smartwatch sphere, but I have some questions. Cellular model - does this require an additional data package from my carrier? Can calls be made from it and does it use up my "cell data"? What benefits do you get from Cellular version over the GPS only? What's your favorite benefit? Internal Storage? - Do the GPS models have built in storage and Bluetooth functionality? | Posted: 03 Aug 2019 03:23 AM PDT So it's day 1 of waiting to get my little buddy repaired since he got stuck on maximum brightness a few days ago. I tried everything that was advised on the internet and after I called the Apple Customer Service where the guy asked if I did what I had already done what I found through the internet, he sent me to an official repair shop to check the watch and it had to be sent for repairs. After 3 months of 24/7 usage and many 3-ring days behind us, I feel like I lost a best friend. I'm kind of bummed right now... He had always previously used Samsung so he also bought the watch mentioned above. A week later he didn't really like the OS and didn't really use it as much as he thought he would. He paid around $700 + tax @ Apple, As a "late grad gift" he would sell it to me at a much lower price being $350. I've looked at it in person and it seems like a no brainer. But should I wait until September for AW series 5 I have a series 1. Apple care is also on it. TLDR : should I buy AP S4 SS black gps and cell with Apple care for $350?
