    Pro Tip: If you want to print from your iPhone but don't have AirPrint, use Automator folder actions and Dropbox to fake it.

    You can use automator to create a folder action that prints to a specific printer. In Dropbox, I have an "AirPrint" folder with a sub-folder for each printer. When I'm on my phone and want to print something, I just "share" it to dropbox and place it in the folder for the printer I want it to go to.

    At home, I have Dropbox on my iMac. When it syncs the file, it triggers the folder action and prints the document. The same is set up for my work printer as well.

    What is nice about this solution is that you don't even have to be on the same network, as you do with AirPrint. You can do it from anywhere you have an internet connection.

    Why doesn't Apple Maps support multiple destinations?

    This may sound like the usual r/apple nit-picky complaint but I really think the improvements to Apple Maps in ios 13 make it an actually good competitor to google maps. I am a delivery driver and have been a Google Maps loyalist for a few years. For my job, I need to be able to plug in 8 different addresses and change the route in real-time. You can try to jankily add a destination by selecting a point on the route and adjusting the address but the usefulness of this workaround is limited.

    Things I do like:

    1. I get to the right place more often than before.
    2. You can preview an address in messages by holding it down (it's really fast)
    3. Details on the map like pop up street names and more distinct house shapes.
    4. If you turn off the screen during a long stretch of road ( Ex. on the freeway for the next 5 miles) the screen will automatically turn on a mile before you have to turn or change lanes.
