    Siri remote won't pair but allows me to restart

    I recently just bought an Apple TV off the Facebook marketplace, and I am worried that I might have been ripped off/scammed. I initially tried setting it up when I got home, but for some reason, I was not able to connect to Wifi. Decided to install some updates after connecting through ethernet, and allowed it to factory reset as well. After doing that, I was prompted to pair the remote again.

    I have tried most of the troubleshooting that I've read online, such as charging the remote, unplugging the ATV, switching out the HDMI cable, tried pairing it while laying the remote on top of the ATV, etc. I've noticed that the remote does in fact let me restart the ATV, and if it dims to the screensaver mode, I am able to wake it up from pressing the touch pad. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, it's only been about 1-2 hours since it was originally working for me. I'm left wondering if maybe this is some kind of bug with the TvOS version that I'm on (which is 12.4 I think).

    If anyone has any insight or help, I would definitely appreciate it!

    IP Camera apps

    I want the ability to view the feed of my android IP cameras on LAN through my AppleTV, since the TV is already connected to wifi and the television screen. The cameras use a webcam LAN feed from a specific IP Address on port 8080.

    I've looked at apps in the appstore, but all the interesting ones cost money, and I've emailed the developers and not gotten a single response. So, I want to know if anyone has experience with this kind of thing and can give me recommendations.

    Occasional Audio Drop Outs On Netflix

    Why does this keep happening? It's not constant. It seems to happen at night more and mostly on Netflix. My HDMI cables aren't the problem. I've tried many.

    Other things to note: Apple TV is on a wired connection. Connected directly to an LG C9 OLED. My audio device is a Sony Z9F soundbar, Which I have ruled out as the problem since my PS4 doesn't have these issues.

    Any advice?

    Just got a second Apple TV. Do I have to sign into each tv app with my xfinity credentials??

    So I really loved the playing with the Apple TV 4K and decided to get another one. During the initial setup, it copied all my settings over from the other Apple TV, downloaded all my apps on that TV, and put it all the folders I created earlier. Then it asked me if my cable provider was xfinity and I confirmed it was. But then when I tried to sign into msnbc, it asked me if my credentials were still xfinity and I confirmed it was. Then it still prompted me to go to each respective website and put in my credentials. Did I miss a step or do I really have to do all this shit over and over again?

    AppleTV misaligned on TV randomly

    Hey,

    So i got both ATV and my new TV 3 weeks ago, so i cant know if its the TV or the ATV but.

    Seemingly random, the screen misalignes a few milimeters, usually to the left, so there is a few milimeters of black pixels to the right of the screen, its as if the picture is moved to the left.

    I checked with calibration in ATV, so this is the case, not something im just hallicinating.

    Restarting the ATV or unplug/replug the HDMI usually makes the picture normal again.
