Keep geeing message failed to send notification from a really old message Posted: 06 Jul 2019 12:27 AM PDT Hi, I keep getting a message fail to send notification. It's for a message sent over 2 years ago, it just pops up now and again. There no unsent message on my phone. Phone has been rebooted many times, iMessages turned off, lot of things. The message notification is for a message being sent to someone who has now died, so it's pretty upsetting to keep getting this message. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
iMessage not sending to one contact Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:16 PM PDT I've been chatting with a person I met online about a week ago using iMessage. I would like to note that they do not have a cell provider and therefore can't take calls or receive regular sms messages. Yesterday I sent a text and immediately got the not delivered alert with a red exclamation point. I then hit try again, not send as text message, however it did send as a text message and I have been unable to send anything other than an sms text message since, which they can't receive. They have not messaged me since either which is certainly odd as we have been talking frequently. I am sure that the problem is on their side and not mine, but as I have no other way of contacting them I am curious as to what that problem is. We were on very good terms at the time so they wouldn't have had any reason to block me, however I don't know them well so it is a possibility. I was also under the impression your messages were still sent when blocked, just never received. Could it be that they broke their phone? Am I in fact blocked? Something else? [link] [comments] |
Issue with backup on iCloud??? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:31 PM PDT Hey guys, I had a 128gb iPhone 6s for 2 years, and even though I had lots of space I still used iCloud storage just to put my backup on so I didn't need to go through the hassle of backing up to the computer. A couple days ago, I dropped my phone into a toilet (don't even ask how, I couldn't even tell you) and actually fixed it that night before I went to bed. I assumed everything would be fine, but when I woke up in the morning my phone was completely dead, likely from the water damage to the battery. I'm going to upgrade to an iPhoneX, but on my phone plan it needs to be a 64GB. So I have no way to reduce the storage on my phone seeing as it is saved as a backup. I also refuse to use iCloud for my photos and videos, as I had a problem with that before. Does anyone have any tips on how to solve this problem? Like maybe a way to clean out the files on the backup using a program? Anything will help! Thanks! (Side note I do have a Mac, so if it's an apple only software that's okay!) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:51 PM PDT On the app it says that there is 109:33 of recording but will not play anything after the 45:07 mark. During recoding I paused and resumed at what i'm guessing is that point but I cannot seem to get the full recording, i've tried connecting to my Macbook but does not have full audio. I tried the cloud but cannot seem to find voice memos on the cloud even though it says on my phone voice memos are synced. Has anyone experienced this problem? It's an iPhone 7 on ios 12.3.1. Hoping I can recover this lost 20 minutes of audio. [link] [comments] |
Not receiving notifications from specific person. Posted: 05 Jul 2019 11:23 AM PDT So currently I am not receiving anything notifications from my friend, no ribbon, bubble, or even the blue dot within the iMessage app. I have doubled checked that i did not put them on Do Not Disturb, I did swipe to make sure "Show alerts" is on. I made sure to give them a specific tone and set them on emergency bypass. After all that i decided to back up my phone and reset just in case, still nothing pops up. Please help! [link] [comments] |
Can't enter recovery mode as I cannot connect to my computer with USB. Posted: 05 Jul 2019 10:36 AM PDT Recently inherited and iPhone 7 plus from a family member who passed. The phone is disabled with no time stamp as to when it will run out due to the previous owner entering the passcode wrong on numerous occasions. Every guide I've read on how to factory reset it has said to connect to a previously synced computer and use iTunes to wipe it. This phone has never connected to any computer to my knowledge, and the iCloud account is also unknown. Therefore I cannot connect it to any computer in my home without the phone being unlocked and allowing access to the computer. I've tried 3 different computers, 4 USB wires and nothing has worked. Am I shit out of luck? [link] [comments] |
Downloading to edit YouTube videos. Posted: 05 Jul 2019 01:28 AM PDT Is there an app that can down load my YouTube videos so I can edit them etc and put them back up on YouTube? [link] [comments] |

No Personal Hotspot in iPhone 4s Posted: 05 Jul 2019 04:21 AM PDT Hi, the personal hotspot function just disappeared from the settings. I found an article saying that you have to log out and log in to your iCloud account, but that didn't help. I also restarted my iPhone and restarted the internet settings. Doesn't work either. My iOS version is 9.3.5. [link] [comments] |
iPad Pro and iPhone 7+ stuck on 1% after charging for ages Posted: 05 Jul 2019 02:51 AM PDT They both started doing this out of nowhere. Tried different cables, different chargers, different outlet. Both doing the same thing. So bizarre. The 7+ can also take 30+ minutes to turn on when it's completely dead. Turns on then stuck in 1% limbo. If I unplug the cable it'll shut off within a minute or two. It's not holding anything. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:53 AM PDT It does not say who the message was to, and I can't delete it. [link] [comments] |
