| Bluetooth stereo volume limit? Posted: 26 Jul 2019 03:38 PM PDT I have a Kenwood BT31U stereo. I recently got an iPhone 7+. This happened with my girlfriends iPhone as well, if I try to turn the volume on the stereo past 27 it automatically drops down to 15. Doesn't matter if it's YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music.. Volume limit is off, sound check is off, I can't find anything online. Does anybody else have this issue?? [link] [comments]  |

MERITS AND DEMERITS OF LATEST TECH: WE HAVE A LOTS OF SOFTWARE'S ALLOWING US TO EXTRACT DATA FROM IDEVICE BACKUP. FOR THE IMAGES THE JPG, PNG AND HEIC CAN BE EXPORTED BACK TO IDEVICE USING ANY IDEVICE DATA MANAER TOOL NOWADAYS BUT NONE WILL ALLOW YOU TO EXPORT THE .AAE FILE, THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE IF YOU HAVE A LOTS OF PHOTOS ON YOUR DEVICE, WHICH CONTAINS ALL THE EDIT/METADATA OF A PHOTO ON YOUR DEVICE. IF YOU LOSE .AAE FILES YOU'LL LOSE ALL THE EDITING (FOCUS/FILTER/RED EYE REMOVAL/BRIGHTNESS etc.) YOU'VE DONE ON A PHOTO. BUT DON'T YOU WORRY, HERE'S HOW TO GO HASSLE-FREE WITH THIS THING. | Posted: 26 Jul 2019 05:00 PM PDT So the haptic engine (if that's what it's called) in my iPhone 7 Plus came loose and caused my phone to rattle when it vibrated. When I still had iOS 12 I turned off the vibration system-wide. I recently updated to a beta version of iOS 13, and I got the engine fixed, but I can't find the vibration tab to turn it back on. The settings are set up differently on this version. Does anyone know how to re-enable it? I tried Google but it didn't have anything for iOS 13. And no the "General > Accessibility > Vibration" doesn't work so please don't say to do that, lol. [link] [comments]  |

| Phone Call Silent for 3 Seconds Posted: 26 Jul 2019 11:06 AM PDT I have an iPhone XS and just recently, while I've been on a call, the phone will go silent for 3 seconds and then I'll be able to hear the person I'm talking to again.....but then it happens again. | i have no clue what happened to my phone today Posted: 26 Jul 2019 02:47 PM PDT so today my phone randomly kept completely shutting off (but i could turn it back on by holding the power button), and that was weird, but later it just went completely dead. i looked this up a few minutes ago, but they said it could take up to a few minutes to turn it on, but for me i tried for about 20-30 minutes trying to turn it on, then i put it away for about five hours, and when i checked on it, it was at 17% battery. (it was at 92% right before it went dead) then i used my phone for about five minutes and it went dead, exept when i held the power button to turn it on it showed the apple logo as if it was waking up, but then it went black. after that it ran out of battery and now i charged it and it works. can you fellas explain what happened? Posted: 26 Jul 2019 10:52 AM PDT If you're on Windows or any Mac that can't handle the latest OS, your videos won't play on your computer as stated by Apple here. There is a way to fix this problem pretty easily once you actually know how to do it. FIX THE VIDEOS YOU ALREADY RECORDED First, in order to get the videos you already recorded onto your computer, you will need to use your iCloud account. Your phone automatically comes with one, so log in and see if your videos are up there. If not, then you have to get them up there and here is how you do that. Once you see your videos in iCloud, select them all (shift + click) and at the top right side of the screen there is a little download button that looks like a cloud with an arrow pointing down. Click AND HOLD until the super secret popup menu appears and then select "Most Compatible" like this: https://snag.gy/8CwWJL.jpg This will download a zip file of all your videos in a format you can actually play on your computer. By the way, have you ever in your life seen a click-and-hold menu on the internet before? I never have. It's like they were trying to hide it. You could also use something like Handbrake to convert the videos, but it's way more time-consuming, labor intensive and the quality isn't as good. So don't do that. Just set up an iCloud account and download the compatible version of your videos. FIXING FUTURE VIDEOS To prevent future videos from recording in this unusable format, on your iPhone adjust these settings: • 1. Settings > Camera > Most Compatible (rather than "High Efficiency") and • 2. Settings > Photos > Automatic (rather than "Keep Originals") Now whenever you plug your phone into your computer, the Photos app will open and videos will appear under the "import" tab...and you will actually be able to import them to your computer. You can also use Image Capture to drag and drop videos now. An OS update will probably default these settings back to unusable, so I guess try to remember to check the settings after an update and before you film any video. [link] [comments]  |

I used over 15,000MB in twoish weeks. I turned off cellular for almost everything, and what I found was Apple Music wouldn't play a good amount of songs I downloaded onto my phone; the app would only play them when I was connected to wifi or had cellular data on for the app. Is this because I have too little available storage on my phone? | iPhone 7 iOS 10.2.1 urgent help pls :( Posted: 26 Jul 2019 06:09 AM PDT I have an iPhone 7 currently running on iOS 10.2.1 (very behind on updates, I know). It's been pretty temperamental recently, sometimes shutting down then turning back on but it's still been working relatively ok. Then 2 days ago all my photos deleted and then would all start to restore before crashing and it did this repeatedly. The same thing had happened once before a while ago but only 2 or 3 times before all the pictures came back and it was fine again. I did after the first incident try to delete some photos and update to the new iOS but any time I clicked install it would just freeze and crash so I just gave up after a few attempts as the phone seemed to be functioning fine again. I tried all the methods to bring back the photos, resetting network settings, turning data off, turning on airplane mode, rebooting but nothing would work, I'd pretty much lost all hope and then yesterday it somehow fixed itself and all the photos were back. However my camera won't allow me to take pictures and if I do take one it'll appear as a grey square with no image. I've updated my iCloud so I can back up everything in case the same thing happens again but now when I try manually backup to iCloud it'll load with "estimated time" for a few minutes and then the "last backup could not be completed" message pops up. I again tried rebooting the phone etc to try fix this but nothing seems to be working. I deleted several apps yesterday hoping it'd help with the photo issue which now I'm unable to reinstall (it keeps failing and comes up with the "retry/done" option). My email was also not working, it would crash every time I went onto the mail app so I just removed my email accounts trying to create more space. The audio on podcast and while playing videos also keeps jumping making it unbearable to listen to anything. Also, although I deleted several apps, some are still showing in my iCloud and on settings as apps, however there's no display image for them and it just says "zero data", when I try remove them they'll delete and then if I come off settings and go back on they'll be back again. Now today things got even worse where it disconnected me from my wifi and when I tried to reconnect it came up incorrect password every time I typed it in. Again rebooted my phone and it seemed to connect fine. However it now keeps asking me to log in to iCloud/Apple ID and when I type in my password the same pop up box asking again comes up. The phone has very little damage and I'm honestly at my wits end trying to sort it out. My MacBook is currently broken so I can't even back up all my photos to there and my laptop is so old it doesn't even recognise my iPhone USB when I plug it in. Can anyone please help?? I just want to back my photos up somewhere so I have peace of mind and then try install the new iOS or if worse comes to worst I'll do a full system reset. I really need to access my emails and camera for work and it's really stressing me out. Any help would be hugely appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
