- Please help! My girlfriend has an Iphone 6S for work. She input her phone password incorrectly too many times and the phone factory reset itself. Is there a way to get everything back? She logged into her AppleID on her phone but did not get everything back. Thank you so much for your help.

Last week the camera died, so today I take the phone to a well known oficial apple repair store in Montevideo, Uruguay. They tell me they can't touch it because it was bought in the us, or because of the model, can't exactly remember. I was under the impression that apple had worldwide oficial support. I was going to pay for the repair, since I understand the phone wasn't covered by warranty anymore, but they didn't want to take it. The solution was the final straw, "take it to the us", I kind of loose my shit then. Finally an unofficial repair shop fixed it. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:00 PM PDT This is really hard to explain so I'm going to use an example text: "let's use the example, THUS and THAT" While I'm typing THAT, autocorrect will change THUS to THIS. While in this example, that would be handy, it has made for a few awkwardly typed messages. I find I have to reread absolutely everything I type, which kind of defeats the purpose of autocorrect. It's not necessarily two words back, the important part is that it's changing words I'm no longer focused on and it's annoying as hell. | I’m not sure what’s wrong w my phone.. Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:13 PM PDT I have an 8 all up to date w updates, but these past few days have been weird.. Saturday, there was what looked like a black tint in a top corner and I was concerned and looked things up on it and nothing really came up. Then throughout the day, I notice what looked to be a crack and an oil spillage(which I though to be from my hair products that day) under my screen protector. So I ripped it off and the crack was neither or my screen protector nor the screen itself, seemed to be under the glass. Same with the oily looking thing. So I continued to look for solutions that day when I went home and nada. Only things saying to get my screen fixed? But I woke up yesterday and it was gone. Only the black tent at the top, but another one seemed to be developing at the bottom. More searching and more nada. Only things on iPhone 4s were popping up. And slowly throughout yesterday and today, the two tints have moved together and made an Africa shape at the top of my screen. It's not smth that's physically keeping me from doing stuff, but it's quite unsightly. There's also a slight problem where the ringer doesn't like to turn on. Idk what's happened but I'm really scared that it'll get worse.. any help would be nice but I understand if no one has heard of smth like this before.. [link] [comments]  |

Long story short I ended up just starting over and putting my old iPhone 4 in a drawer. It's been years since then, but I've really wanted to get these pictures and videos back into my photo library on my current XS Max. I've tried various methods in the past and while they may have been added to my library I found that the pictures were all out of order even though the metadata for time and date are still available when I look at them on Windows. I recently got a replacement phone from Apple and restored everything from iCloud, but the odd thing is I can't seem to pair this device. The name will appear briefly in the Bluetooth settings, and when it does the little information icon is missing. How can I forget the device and re-pair?
