    Mods, I know this software is technically pirate material. I would use it in the past for trying out different versions of Snapchat for developing tweaks. I think everyone needs to be aware of this, since a lot of people change their ways and go straight when it comes to pirating.

    I stumbled upon this on accident. When working on AppStore++ for iOS10, I noticed a crash when downgrading apps. I saw a log that referenced AppCake. I don't remember AppCake hooking anything & wondered why it would even need to. I came across a post by the admin that stated "it's a hook we used to check app updates, we don't plant malware". I removed AppCake and still experienced the crash so I looked in my mobile substrate folder and found a dylib named icatnew.dylib not tracked by dpkg.

    I didn't believe this was done by accident, so I hopped on Hopper to see what it was doing. Turns out this dylib stays on device and continues to log user info like: platform, imei, serial-number, wifi-address, os-version, product-type, & a few other things. They are most likely using this info to manipulate App Store app ratings.

    How to delete if you ever installed AppCake: Obviously remove AppCake in Sileo/Cydia/Zebra. Navigate to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries in Filza & delete the icatnew.dylib & icatnew.plist & then reboot. I say reboot because itunesstored needs to be relaunched. If you're experienced in terminal, run: killall -HUP SpringBoard. Then run: killall -HUP itunesstored

    Don't install this stuff. Pirating can lead to people stealing data, I haven't look too far into the dylib but it's entirely possible they can be stealing appleid passwords.

    After going outside and turning up my phone's brightness, I hate searching for the perfect brightness indoors again. To fix this, I made a tweak that allows you to set a default brightness. To revert back to default, just tap the brightness slider in the control center. You can set the default brightness in the tweak's section in settings.

    [Discussion] Chimera is fucked.

    Recently (In the last hour as of posting) a load of reports are coming in saying that they can no longer sideload or use any signing services. The apps arent just revoked, they're not even installing.

    What the reports have in common: - chimera - sileo on the latest update - A12 (not 100% about this one, could just be a coincidince that the a12's are reporting

    Edit 2: its looking like some people are having success with cydia impactor now. might be a coincidence that sileo updated and signing servers went down. Ill test in the morning

    Edit 3: It appears that apples servers went down and revoked a lot of shit so when people went to use cydia impactor it wasnt working for a small window causing a shitload of unnessary panic.

    If you were able to boot to Android would things like the home button work? What about other distributions of Linux? What if you used Bluetooth to connect to a keyboard. Then could you have a ultra small form factor pc?

    [Help] Cannot sideload/ jailbreak on iPhone Xs

    My phone is on 12.1.1 and I have been using Chimera with no issues till now.

    I have tried jailbreaks. fun, ignite, and cydia impactor. Impactor crashes on "frameworks/libswiftCore.dylib arm64" every time. Any thoughts besides restoring?

    DISCLAIMER: Until David updates this tweak, the lock screen and notification center functionality will still be broken. This is to have ColorFlow 4 work in the Music app and Spotify.

    1st: Have ColorFlow 4 and a file manager installed (I used Filza)

    2nd: Navigate to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ColorFlow4.plist

    3rd: Open the .plist

    4th: Tap on Root, then Filter, then Bundles

    5th: Tap the "i" to the right of com.apple.springboard

    6th: Press "delete" at the bottom.

    You're done! You can now use ColorFlow 4 in the Spotify app and Music app until David updates the tweak. Once he does, you would have to reinstall the tweak to gain lock screen/notification center coloring back.

    In helping out on the discord server, the futurerestore help channel has been flooded with people who used Futurerestore on windows with command prompt using administrative privileges. DO NOT DO THIS! It causes issues and is why futurerestore won't run properly on windows. I don't even know how that idea came about.
