[Release] LiveSafari - Turn the Safari icon into a real compass Posted: 21 Jul 2019 03:09 PM PDT What is it?A little free tweak that makes Safari's needle point to (magnetic) north, just like an actual compass. Battery life?I know everyone's first thought is that it'll drain a lot of battery, however I haven't noticed a big difference. It uses the device's internal magnetometer and behaves just like the compass app. Let me know if you have issues. Where do I get it?From my repo: skitty.xyz/repo/. [Release] NotificationSync, receive your iOS notifications on your Mac or PC Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:57 PM PDT Description Hate missing your notifications because your phone is in your pocket or out of reach? Look no further, simply stream your notifications to your Mac or PC. Never again miss that crucial Snapchat message or Pokemon Go notification. How to Use This tweak requires both the iOS tweak install on your phone and the accompanying desktop application install on the computer you want to receive notification on. You can find download links to the desktop apps below. On desktop, the app will allow you to configure the port your application uses and a password to add an extra layer of security between the iOS tweak and desktop app. It will also display the current IP address and port your application is listening on, which will allow you to set your IP and port manually on your iOS tweak settings. Currently setting your IP and port is required on Windows due to development issues with Bonjour services. Features

[Discussion] What are some battery-draining tweaks to stay away from? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 01:13 PM PDT Hey everyone. So I recently built my perfect setup, but I am noticing some battery drain issues (running Chimera on XR 12.1.1 b3). What tweaks do you guys know of that drain battery fairly quickly? I use Snowboard over iThemer even though it is worse on battery solely for the reason that I want to theme individual icons. Besides that, I am running XenHTML (which I know also is hard on battery) but no animations or anything fancy like that. I also have Springtomize and MiscSettings, how are they on battery? [Question] Will my phone be erased? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 07:11 PM PDT I am trying to update my iphone X to ios 12.2 from ios 11.3.1 to re jaibreak on 12.2... I saw a tutorial on using futurerestore and was wondering if my phone will be erased as the name futurerestore implies or will it just do an update from one version to the next. [Discussion] Why app start time is long on jailbroken devices? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:55 PM PDT Well after jailbreak app start time is comparatively long than the usual time without jailbreak. Any reason why and how to overcome this, i mean any tweak ? [link] [comments]
[Discussion] What iPad Pro tweaks make it worth staying on iOS 12? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 02:48 PM PDT iPadOS 13 Beta 4 has a lot of new iPad-specific features that make updating pretty enticing. My iPad Pro 11 is jailbroken on iOS 12.1, but I honestly haven't found many tweaks that improve the iPad experience. 𝚃𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚢𝚕𝚎 and Cᴇʀᴄᴜʙᴇ are really the only tweaks I use. And Cercube can be sideloaded easily without a jailbreak anyway. Maybe I'll install 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖 but it's not as useful on iPad as it is on my iPhone X. Are there any cool iPad tweaks that make it worth staying on iOS 12 instead of updating to the beta? [link] [comments]

[HELP] I need someone to help me find a tweak. Please see the description. Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:10 AM PDT Hi There, I'm looking for a tweak that lets me open two windows of the same app simultaneously. I need it to edit word doc, essays, assignments etc. I'm on ipad pro 2nd gen, running ios 12.1.2 Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 02:31 PM PDT My device: iPhone 7 on iOS 12.2 First, I want to apologize for the last couple of posts that were really badly explained. I'm linking them here and explaining them a bit better to provide some context for what happened: So at some point I decided to get off of Unc0ver and test out Chimera (mainly because there was supposed to be a working Cydia that was ported there). While on Chimera, I installed two package managers: a Cydia port (which didn't work because the latest version blocked it from running) and Zebra. For some reason, it's really hard to restore rootFS in Chimera itself, so I installed the SnapBack tweak and jumped back to the orig-fs snapshot. I was able to re-jailbreak with Unc0ver with no problems. However, what I didn't realize was that Zebra had synced with Sileo and added Sileo's default repo. I got an update alert for the Link Identity Editor in Zebra and installed it (which is the one shown in the link above), thus rendering my entire jailbreak useless because I could no longer use Cydia to install tweaks. The update was supposed to be for Chimera, not Unc0ver, but I didn't realize this until after I installed it and messed it all up. One of the comments under that post suggested a restore rootFS. I tried that impulsively and ran into this: I'm not sure what EXACTLY caused this, but I'm sure it isn't going out on a limb to assume that it had something to do with the Link Identity Editor being on a very wrong version. For some reason, if I attempted to jailbreak using Unc0ver, most of my existing tweaks would load just fine (after going into a random tweak in Settings and hitting respring), but Cydia wouldn't install (the error was on step 22, and it was something along the lines of "couldn't install stored debs" or something like that), so I did the only thing a desperate idiot on a broken iPhone would do: I went into Settings and clicked Erase all Content and Settings (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS IF YOU KNOW A BETTER METHOD). It worked, but still... steer clear if you have an alternative So after I set up my iPhone again, I figured Unc0ver probably wouldn't work probably because of the jailbreak files that MIGHT be left over... so I went to Chimera and used Succession to do a complete restore. I then sideloaded Unc0ver to my phone and can now (hopefully) get my tweaks back up and running (not sure yet, but I managed to install Succession, you know, just in case any of this happens again). Again, sorry for being so disoriented in my last two posts. I panicked when I realized I couldn't fix the issue by simply re-jailbreaking with Unc0ver. UPDATE: Succession worked perfectly, for anyone wondering. I now have it installed for just-in-case purposes. Also, I highly recommend only installing SnapBack if you're trying to jump to the orig-fs snapshot (or the state the device was in prior to jail breaking at all). UPDATE 2: If you have Shiar's Repo (which I happened to find while I was browsing tweakCompatible in Cydia), remove it. The packages and dependency updates are for Sileo only and can seriously harm the Unc0ver jailbreak. [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Jul 2019 11:33 PM PDT My original itunes account recently got blocked and I had to change to a new one. I had a lot of apps from the old ID and can't update them anymore. Is there a way to save the data of the app, delete it, reinstall from the new itunes ID, then restore the previous data in the app? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

[Question] What happened to Lendmyphone? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:43 PM PDT What happened to this tweak? I'm trying to find something that will allow me to make a guest mode and read about this tweak in my search, however when I check the packix repo it isn't there. Can someone help me please?
