    Hi there, I used spotlight regularly to find contacts and apps on my iPhone. Recently, spotlight became very slow. I tried to uncheck all my contact groups and rechecking them. It didn't help. Any suggestions? (except a fresh install or restore from a backup) Thanks!

    I have an ipad second gen. Didnt touched it in a few years, i turned it on because i needed to download an app. My current version is 7.0.4. and i have an update that is allegedly downloaded (9.2.1) but when i press the install now button it cannot verify the update because i am not connected to a network (i am connected to a wifi and it runs perfectly i check other apps work fine) and i cant fined the downloaded update in the storage area. Anything i can do?

    AirPods controls work on PC

    I usually connect my AirPods to my computer at work to listen to music, and I double tapped my AirPod out of habit just now to pause my music and it actually worked. I don't know if this feature has always worked with non Apple Devices but to my knowledge it hasn't. Can anyone confirm?

    Copying email to folder

    Attachments in Mail App.. for the love of god, Apple.

    I can't wrap my head around why apple's native mail app does not "hold" attachments at the top of an email. It is incredibly frustrating that I have to scroll to the bottom of a lengthy email thread in order to open attachments sent to me. I go back and forth between Apple's native mail app and the Outlook app. Apple's native mail app is really really well designed. The way it handles attachments is the only knock I have on the app (and that goes for the macOS email as well). I am so disappointed that this improvement did not make the cut in iOS 13.

    I tried to look this problem up online/through reddit and found very little on the topic. It's really strange that this isn't a more widely requested feature.

    Battery life on iOS 13 beta?

    How is the battery life compared to iOS 12.3.1 vs iOS 13 beta? I'm hearing from a lot of people battery is better on iOS 13 which is surprising me.

    Hey,

    I have a '1' badge on my settings app asking me to update, but there is no update waiting to be installed.

    I'm already on iOS 12.3.1. I did have the iOS 13 beta installed, but I used an archived backup to reinstall iOS 12.

    Any ideas? It's really annoying me.

    Suggestion: iOS should open/close the photo gallery in iMessage when long tapping on the camera icon

    This would be so much easier than the current system of tapping on the app store icon.

    Also, tapping on quality settings in the camera app should let us change resolution.

    Delete contact permanently

    Why is it when I delete a contact from my phone they still show up when I use the search function? I've deleted the contact and the texts, but when I search my iPhone the person still shows up under the phone app. I've also deleted all voicemails and recent calls to and from this person. How can I wipe this contact away for good?!

    IOS 13 Google home WiFi connection

    Can anyone else connect to their google home nest hub on their phone with iOS 13 it gives me a "connect to your WiFi" and yet I have it connected?

    I know it's beta and there's lots of bugs but is someone having the same issue or is it just me?

    iPhone lock animation stopped working help me

    Notes reverting back to folder view

    Whenever I come back to the notes app after leaving it for a while, it has reverted back to folder-view (All iCloud, notes, recovered and newly deleted). I would love to just stay in the notes-folder until I needed the other folders for some reason. Any ideas?

    Secure encrypted iOS file locker for medical data?

    I'm going to be moving to a different country for university. For my medical information, my state will provide it from their system on a CD.

    Originally I was going to keep them on a flash drive and use iOS 13 to access them from my iPad (only on the iPad as iPads are significantly less vulnerable to viri).

    But now I'm thinking, it might make sense to store them locally on my iPad in an encrypted app. My requirements are that the app is not backed up by iCloud in anyway including on iCloud backups, that it keeps the data encrypted and that it's UI is pleasing to use.

    Does anyone know of any such apps?
