    Unable to update/download/purchase apps

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 02:20 AM PDT

I've been having this issue for a while now, and have yet to find a way to solve it. When I attempt to do any of the above, I'm told to update my payment methods. When I check my purchase history, I'm told that my payment method can't be authorised.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Any help is appreciated.

[Question] is there a way to unmerge people from the people folders? I’m using iOS 13 beta, and accidentally merged two people together and want to know if there’s a way to undo that, I’ve tried deleting them from the people folders and changing the name but no luck

Anyone Know if the Battery case works with the X in iOS 13?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 07:36 AM PDT

So I just got an XS smart battery case and am finding that Apple disabled them on the X in iOS 12.3.1. Does anyone know if it's working again in iOS 13?

Looking For An Image Viewer For iPad

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 05:40 AM PDT

On my Mac I have a program called Spect that I really like. What I like about it is that it can only display images and has no editing abilities. This ensures that I can't accidentally alter my files.

I am now looking for something similar for my forthcoming iPad. Does anyone have a suggestion?

How do I remove a number from a phone?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 05:23 AM PDT

I just got a new phone and wanted to give my little sister my old phone, but she is still associated with my Phone number. My mom wanted to make so she has no number associated and can only message and FaceTime people through her Apple ID. Is this possible?

    Workflow (Siri Shortcuts) Count Humour

It'd be nice if the Photos app natively applied on-device OCR to pictures and provide search capability

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 09:37 AM PDT

Screenshots, quick grabs of displayed information often contain text. Ability to search that would be nice

Any way to detect jailbroken iPad/ iPhone?

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 07:46 PM PDT

So I just want to know few things; 1). Is it possible to REMOTELY jailbreak an iPhone with latest update? 2). How can I tell if my phone is jailbroken? I've read online that it was possible to hide Cydia or any jailbreak software, and wanted to know if there was a way to detect the apps. 3). Are there any apps for computer that I can use to scan the iPhone for a jailbreak?

Canary Mail app - double notifications

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 03:37 PM PDT

The Canary mail app started doing double notifications for each new email. I'm also getting it on my Apple Watch (series 4). My iPhone XS Max.

Does anyone know how to stop the double notifications?

    Podcasts App

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 02:03 PM PDT

The Apple podcasts app is the buggiest thing ever. I've always left notifications on for the five podcasts I've been subscribed to for years.

Every few months, my phone will change between NOT ever giving me push notifications for newly available episodes... to ONLY giving me notifications when I connect to CarPlay in my car.

This past weekend, after months of no notifications, I received an assload after connecting to my car randomly. Yesterday, I received 3 additional ones for episodes that released on Monday and Tuesday. Today, I didn't receive a podcast notification that dropped this morning until I connected to my car which I am sitting in as I write this post.

What the hell. Before you ask, yes I have un/re-subscribed to everything, changed notification settings, reset system settings and fully reset my device in the past for this.

    This app sucks.

Android phone user with an iPad

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 04:50 PM PDT

So I've never liked iOS or Apple for that matter, I have used multiple devices (mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad) but just prefer the alternatives(pc, android phone). I never had any inclination to buy any Apple products with my own money, the others I had were provided to me.

Fast forward to my girlfriend wanting an iPad. We get the iPad and I use it predominantly for YouTube, Reddit, Netflix, and reading ebooks. I used to do all those things on my Samsung Note 8, which is what I want to get at in this post.

iOS feels super clunky. All I've ever heard is iOS/Apple have better UI and intuitive menus and such. Which on my experience is untrue, it's frustrating how often I cant tap here to do this action, or the worst imo is having to tap the [back] button or [x] to close a prompt instead of tapping on the background.

I know this can be boiled down to I'm just used to android and just inexperienced, but I have years of using Apple products and it seems I had just forgotten why I disliked them.
