Does anyone else notice Bumblebee looks really bad in non hdr 4K.

My hdr is only okay so I tend not to use it but with bumblebee and most paramount releases they make it so you have to or the quality sucks.

Apple TV Only showing up in remote not in widget

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 08:20 PM PDT

So when I draw down from the upper right corner it only shows 1 of 2 apple tv (it used to show both). When I open the remote app I can select it and it performs as expected. It's obviously a lot less convenient having to go that route. Any ideas what is causing this? The Apple TV not showing is connected via Ethernet (but does have the wifi information). I tried unpairing/repairing my iphone.

Rec for replacement 65" TV that works well with AppleTV 4k?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 09:39 AM PDT

My LG 65" 4K LCD TV has a dreaded dead pixel with crosshair like lines permanently on the display as of this weekend. I need to at least stick with 65", if not larger. There is a lot of glare where we keep it in our Den because of the windows but don't want to drop the extra money on an OLED. Any current recommendations for replacements? I bought the current TV as an open box at Best Buy so it's our of warranty and I expect a fix to cost about half a replacement, so I might as well replace it now. I see Best Buy is always having sales on 4K TVs and it seems Costco prices are usually higher.

I am debating whether to go to Samsung since our other TV is Samsung and we haven't had any problems with it, although I see from other people asking for advice, people typically recommend LG. One of the things I have noticed is the LG isn't controlled very well by the AppleTV (It doesn't turn it on/off) but the remote does. The Samsung we have is also only supportive of UHD on the primary HDMI input, which seems odd and I was curious how common that is. Any advice is appreciated! Will be going buy one later today.

    Does Infuse worth the price?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 03:22 PM PDT

I am considering to get Infuse to use the content in my NAS but I am not sure if worth the price.

Is MrMc a good (cheaper) option?

Infuse vs. sort by file names

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 09:01 AM PDT

Gents (and Ladies of course) ... the Infuse app is one of my favorite app when it comes to video playback on Apple TV, but I can not figure out one thing - after the app downloads, sorts my files on a folder, it also messes up my original order of files, that is sort by filename doesn't look to be available after Infuse does its magic ... is there ANY way to overcome this, as such, keep and use the automatically downloaded metadata, BUT keep my original sorting which is by filename ?!

Any kind of feedback would be highly appreciated!

Is there a way to force the Siri remote to send a "TV Turn on" signal (without HDMI-CEC) after the Apple TV is already on?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 11:48 AM PDT

Sometimes my Apple TV wakes up from the remote but it isn't pointed at the TV correctly, and the TV doesn't get turned on. I have to then either try to put the AppleTV back to sleep (without seeing it on the TV) to try again or I have to find the TV remote.

Unfortunately my tv doesn't have CEC (which is ridiculous because it's a Samsung from 2012).

    Thanks!

Extend Macbook display to multiple Apple TV's

    Posted: 23 Jun 2019 10:56 AM PDT

Would it be possible to extend my desktop across multiple monitors using 2 apple TV's (one to each monitor) to act as 3 monitors for one Mac?
