    As title says. I don't see why didn't they added to it in the first place. It doesn't belong to the settings, and you can't see more than a week of history there.

    Hey guys,

    so i have 32Gb iPhone SE, i bought iCloud 50Gb storage cause i have like 7Gb of photos and its running up since i started travelling a bit. And here is a question. Why cant I delete photos from iPhone and keep them on iCloud so i can see them/download them later? Why i when i press delete, it automatically deletes both photos from cloud and iPhone storage? Whats the point of that cloud then?

    Maybe its too trivial/banal question and i should feel stupid but i cant get it.

    I was able to kill my iPhone 8 loaner phone replacement from �� % to 98% battery health in 5 days on iOS 12.3.1. Keep in mind brand new iPhone they gave me as loaner phone.

    Hi. can you recommend a browser where internal sound will actually work when screen recording? I've been using Mymedia for months because of that, but in their new update, screen record doesn't capture internal sound anymore.

    Swipe Gesture super-sensitive in iOS 13? I keep going back and forward! Driving me nuts.

    I'm on the ios 13 public beta. I've noticed when browsing website like Daily Mail that require lots of vertical scrolling, that my swipes often result in inadvertant "back" or "forward" actions in safari. I don't recall it being that sensitive previously... perhaps why I've developed poor swiping skills.

    Anyone else notice this? Is there any way to turn off the swipe or make it less sensitive at least?

    non-apple watch smart watch recommendations?

    Wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with smart watches other than Apple Watches. My gen 1 AW had a swollen battery for the second time, and i'm repairing it myself after concluding that I don't use enough of the features to warrant a new gen AW purchase. Also looking to have different styles of watches on hand.

    Features I would be looking for :

    Must have:

    • showing the name of whoever is calling or texting

    • waterproof

    Preferred:

    • show text message content

    • record movement/steps

    • play/pause/fast forward music playing from phone

    Bonus:

    • workout detection/integration beyond just tracking steps

    • weather

    • calendar integration

    Any word on the new clear app?

    Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong sub, couldn't find anything pertaining to an AppStore subreddit. About 5 months ago clear released an update and in the log details it states " under the hood changes to begin preparing for a migration to the upcoming new clear" that was sometime in January/ February. Does anyone know what happened? Has the project been abandoned?

    iOS style live wallpaper

    Maybe the title is a bit vague so let me explain.

    I've always been a fan of the glassy blurs in iOS like in spotlight or control centre. So I've got the idea of making a live wallpaper in n this style where it shows you the blur but when you force touch the blur fades or slides away. I just have no idea how to make this. (Making the blurred wallpaper should not be a problem in photoshop or procreate but making it an animation and export it to a live photo is going to be more problematic.)

    Does anyone know how I can do this?

    Any solution? Tried everything including flashing using DFU mode still messages and passwords in keychain are not syncing with iCloud.

    Help my phone is stuck on Apple log

    I'm on a iPhone 6S and recently got my battery changed but tonight it was draining heavily and than I wasn't near any chargers so it died but I was able to charge it later and since it won't turn on it's just stuck on the Apple logo I believe it's not a boot loop either nots not restarting it's just sitting there

    Does anyone know if it is possible to share a picture from the iOS Photos app to the instagram story?

    Hi, I'm trying to share a picture directly from the iOS Photos app but there is only one option to share to instagram (the Instagram feed), but I don't see any option for sharing to story, the thing is that it is a picture from long time ago among a hundred and search it from Instagram app it's painful. Somebody?

    Hide Alerts is unreliable at best. I mute the conversation, the messages show up on my watch. I block contacts, their messages still show up on macOS.

    Had no other choice but to Set As New. But what have I actually lost except apps and settings calibration? As soon as I logged into my iCloud, all the photos, notes, etc. started to download....

    I guess the bigger question - what is the purpose of having an iCloud backup?

    So I have Dropbox but it gets full really quick & I just want to be able to put a load of films and pictures on some kind of web/pc based app, so my wife can watch movies and music on her iPad and iPhone whilst she's in the kitchen cooking etc. Is there anything out that that is FREE, which allows large amounts of storage like 10-50gig ? I know it's a long stretch , but what do you guys use ? Thanks in advance for your replies and suggestions ;)

    TLDR: just want to put a load of music and movies on a pc based program that I can stream to my iPad and iPhone whilst round the house :)
