    Hello, first time poster here.

    After 3 years using 5S and 6 years using HTC One M7 (yes, I use 2 phone for a while to mitigate my 5S' small storage), I made a decision to liquidate most of my savings and sell some of my guitar pedals to get the X. I can say it's one of the best decision I made in recent times. It helps a lot on my work, it helps more for gaming and photography.

    At first I was torn between iPhone 8 or X due to budget restriction (I am regular worker in a developed country, buying a new phone worth 3 months of your salary ain't worth it) and my doubt to Face ID. I managed to save for 2 years and now I couldn't be happier. Face ID is great, the camera is wonderful (really helps when traveling), and very minimal lags. Earth-and-sky differences compared to my 5S and HTC One M7.

    I thank this sub to convince me to get X instead 8. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day!

    I typically keep my iPhones in Otterbox Commuter or Symmetry cases from day 1 of unboxing. But I always find myself wanting to give the phone it's fair chance without one. So here goes, I just took off the Otterbox from my XS. I love the way it feels, but my anxiety just went through the roof. Does anyone else prefer their iPhone with no case?

    Separate camera roll for screenshots...

    Anybody else wish that their screenshots and even the pictures they save with the long press and "save image" were saved in a completely different spot?

    I know that they have the separate folder for screenshots which is a step in the right direction, but I just want my camera roll to be my actual pictures from my camera

    Why does iPhone reactivates both WiFi and Bluetooth when you deactivate Plane Mode?

    Shouldn't it put it back to where it was?

    If I had Bluetooth on and WiFi off it should do that, not both. It's so annoying having to switch em back off every time, especially for battery saving!

    I'm on iPhone 6s btw so perhaps hardware is different from iPhone X

    After having an iPhone XR for 6 months now I find impossible to go back to Android because of its visuals. Why do you think iOS look sleeker than Android (I know this a subjective thing)?

    I have always used Android becuase I couldn't afford an IPhone. Now that I am 23 years old and have finished my studies I am working and I have been able to buy an iPhone. Now it is unthinkable for me to go back to Android because I find it very ugly. Does it happen the same to you? Why do you think iOS look sleeker and more beautiful (if you agree with it being better)?

    iPhone 8 crashing / freezing

    Hey, I was wondering if any of the iPhone 8 users are experiencing frequent crashes on their iPhones. I'm talking about no response from your phone, needing a reboot using the volume buttons and power button. I got my brand new iPhone 8, which almost immediately froze (on the dead battery screen, while my battery was full. It kept rotating) and did not respond. So I returned it to the store and they gave me a new one, but this one freezes frequently as well (not on the dead battery screen, but just when using the phone).

    I'll be going back to the store again, but wanted to know if this is like a common iPhone 8 problem or that I'm one of the only people experiencing this, and my store just got like a bad batch of phones.

    Because it sucks to get like a new iPhone which doesn't even work properly straight out of the box.

    Almost every time I'm playing a song through Spotify I'll notice if I hit pause from the lockscreen and then put my phone back to sleep it continues playing the music. Why is this happening?

    3.5mm Adapter Recommendation

    Hey ya'll. I just received my XR yesterday. I have an old car with a tape deck; I use a cassette with a 3.5mm adapter so I can play music in my car. Where would I find a quality adapter? This would be the ONLY thing I'd use it for. Does the apple one even work for this? I've read many bad reviews on Apple's sight, so I'm hoping there is a better 3rd party option.

    Are magnets harmful?
