    Every April Fools Day, some people think it's funny to go on Twitter, Reddit, and Discord to say a new jailbreak has been released for the latest iOS. In some cases, I've seen some people fall for it and update their device.

    So this is my warning to you, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

    If you want to check the legitness of a jailbreak, check r/jailbreak or our Discord server to see if it's truly legit.

    Anyone found to be posting fake jailbreaks on r/jailbreak will be banned for 5 days as per usual, and permanently banned on Discord if done there.

    Please note I'm not encouraging anyone to start shit or fight, I'm simply writing this as I feel tho there is too much drama going on between certain devs behind the scene of jailbreaking. Love them or hate them without these devs jailbreaking would've not been possible on iOS 11 or iOS 12. Jailbreaking should be about the users freedom to personalise their device it should not be a competition on who is the best and the best utility out there. Weather you're using Electra or Unc0ver it's about personal preference and what ever is available at the time to jailbreak your device. I know it's non of my business nor my place to say however there's been countless rumours surrounding certain devs.

    -Coolstar fired Pwn20wnd off the Electra team -Pwn20wnd becomes first person to release a fully fledged iOS 12 jailbreak with cydia and substrate. -coolstar retelates by making sileo closed source. -Jake James releases Anemone For unc0ver, coolstar then pulls it off cydia and makes it closed source..

    Weather those things happened or not I don't care but what I do care about is the drama in some way or another all this drama and tension I feel has divided the Jailbreaking community some people like myself wondering as to why there is so much drama going on but the end of the day putting all that nonsense and shit behind it all we are all here for the same thing which is to jailbreak. You have a certain amount of people on iOS 11 with Electra, then you have certain amount of people on iOS 12 with Unc0ver but for the unc0ver users they can't have certain tweaks/applications because it's closed source and is part owned by the Electra team.

    As an experienced jailbreak user myself been jailbreaking iOS since 2011, all I care about is the freedom in which the jailbreaking process gives you to tweak/modify your device to your own liking. I don't want to know about who fired who and who said what first between the devs unless it's something to do with having a set back and it in turns impacts the development of a new jailbreaking utility...

    With that been said all I want to be able to do is jailbreak my device with no drama's. but in saying I've used both utilities I had Electra on my 6s iOS 11.1.2 but I encountered so many issues with it and I only got a 48hr uptime before my device would auto reboot & I'd have to re jailbreak. I now have a XS Max (A12) on 12.1.1 the only available utility for iOS 12 so far is Unc0ver and I have not encountered any serious issues with it so far. But like all things, whether it's tech related like iOS software, or jailbreaks or in gaming industry not everything is 110% bug free there will be issues and bugs along the way buts part of the learning process in life and I would imagine it's extremely hard to create a jailbreak and i applaud all the devs out there on both sides Electra & Unc0ver for all the hard work they are doing to create jailbreaks for us as the community. I don't want to be forced into a situation to pick and choose who is the better dev because of all the drama that now surrounds the jailbreaking scene it's not right and it's not fair on us been thrown into the middle of it all

    If you are still receiving the "Can't retrieve data from the server" error, kill the app in the app switcher and try again. It can take a handful of times before it lets you in, but once it does it works just fine. This is a known bug.

    [Tutorial] Those who still have issues with Reload System Daemons try this Shortcut I made. Hasn't failed me yet!

    I found this method on here somewhere and created a shortcut to make it easier.

    For this method to work you need to already have the tweak "Local SSH" and the Shortcuts app installed.

    1. Disable "Load Tweaks" in unc0ver. Reload System Daemons ENABLED.
    2. Jailbreak
    3. Run "Load Tweaks & Respring" Shortcut
    4. Profit.

    If you have changed your root password (you should), you'll need to update that in the Shortcut.

    [Discussion] I want to ignite more interest in a Apple Watch JB or Rootless JB. So LETS CHAT!

    I really just wanna know what exploits if any exist or what needs to be done to to inject faces into the Apple Watch app? Or if anything is even possible anymore. Apps like "Automatic Watch Faces" and "Termiwatch" are awesome but I know more can be done if the interest is there.

    Applebetas kinda started a few years ago with the tweak "SpecialFaces" but is not updates for iOS 12 or watch os 5. I would like to have all the new faces for the series 4 and even the old faces I don't have like the Nike+ and Hermès faces ported to other watches. It's been proven to be possible to do. It just needs to be updated to iOS 12

    [Question] How does having root access to your iPhone effect the Apple Watch? Can you trick the watch via the phone in any way?

    [Discussion] Anemone 3.0 is WAY better than Snowboard (and Neonboard)

    I am aware that it is still too early to do proper full testing but even from the last two hours I feel my phone's usage being lighter. I do not think that it is, at least only, placebo. For Neonboard users having notifications themed again is a plus as well. I will update this post with some actual data soon.

    Anemone is really the best theming engine and I wish the Coolstar would let Unc0ver users use it natively. I'm sure it would run even better than it already is.
