[Released] Finally! I launched my iOS game for Apple TV!

Hello redditors! After 3 months released my game for iOS, Banana Racer Pro - Moto Racing, I released the game version for Apple TV!

    https://i.redd.it/wncekb2jm0u21.jpg

You can play either with the Siri Remote in landscape mode or with a compatible mfi joystick. If you have already downloaded Banana Racer Pro for iOS, you can download it for free on Apple TV as they are associated and not independent of each other.

I promise to continue with updates with improvements for all devices. I hope you like it, it was very accomplished in control with the Siri Remote, so it is not vital to have a joystick to have a good experience, with the Siri Remote you can already have the complete experience in a comfortable way.

You know and as I always tell you, if you are interested and can not pay the $ 0.99 for whatever reason, ask me for a promotional code and I will gladly give it to you.

Thank you very much to all! If they try it, I'd love them to tell me their impressions!

Is there any way to see Family Purchases on the main library page

    Posted: 23 Apr 2019 06:35 PM PDT

I got the movie Dirty Dancing for my wife on my iCloud account. We have family sharing enabled. The Apple TV is on her account. Is there any way to get the movie to show up on her account without having to go to Family Purchases? On the Apple TV, I can even go to the movie and watch it, it's just essentially hidden from the Library. It would just be nice to have all the movies we own consolidated on one page, and not have to look in multiple places for movies.

Just found out the Sony TV remote can control the Apple TV...

    Posted: 23 Apr 2019 10:12 AM PDT

I knew for a while now that my Sony TV could control my PS4 but I never knew it could also control the Apple TV. Idk if this is new for anyone else. Sometimes it does get a little laggy but for the most part it works fine. I wonder if other TV remotes can do this like maybe the LG remotes or Samsung remotes? Anyways I thought it was a cool find even if I'm late on it

    Frame rate issue?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2019 10:21 AM PDT

I have a 3rd generation Apple TV. I've noticed that with certain programs (specifically from foreign countries - ie. England, Israel) the picture is very jumpy. I'm certain it's a frame rate issue. Can this be fixed on the Apple TV somehow? It's definitely not a wifi issue (because it works perfectly on my laptop) and other shows are completely fine. Or does the old Apple TV just not know how to adapt to other frame rates?

[Buying Advice - Germany] 4k Apple TV vs upcoming 3rd party Apple TV app

    Posted: 23 Apr 2019 08:24 AM PDT

    Hi all,

I am looking to stream my iTunes collection but want to take advantage of 4k, as the movies I have are only able to play at 1080p because I only have the 3rd gen ATV.

Speculation is welcome here. Of course the 4k Apple TV is very expensive, as all quality 4k things are. I don't own a TV that will get endowed with the Apple TV app, so I would need to buy either the Apple TV or FireTV.

Amazon and Google movies in 4k are trash (only offered with German dubs), and no one else is offering 4k movies to buy on my TV (all 1080p).

So I'm a bit conflicted. First of all I have no guarantee that the FireTV will offer the Apple TV app in 4k nor if it will support HDR10. If it doesn't do those 2 things, it's dead to me as my Apple TV 3rd gen can already play my movies at that resolution.

Whereas if I buy the native Apple TV I know what I'm getting, but will have buyer's remorse if I find out I could've had the same experience on a much cheaper streaming device.

I'll be in the US in the Summer and that's when I plan to buy one or the other (or none, if I'm not convinced). The 4k market is just absurdly stupid here in Germany.

Anybody know if you can pair a Roku remote control with an Apple TV 4K device as an alternate remote?
