    Image Capture HEIF to JPEG conversion

    Hello - when I imported photos from an iPhone X using Image Capture, it converted the photos & videos into JPEG format. (Didn't check the "Keep Originals" option. ) Does this mean that my images & videos are of poorer quality now due to conversion between lossy formats? Unfortunately clicked "Delete after import". :(

    Reminders app needs an overhaul

    Is it just me or is this one of the worst stock apps? I make reminders all the time and I have notifications on for the app yet it is rarely successful in reminding me. I see them on the lock screen but they are just a nuisance. I've been reminded to do things I've already done so many times that I subconsciously ignore all reminders notifications. Any reminders app pros wanna give me some tips?

    My backup was corrupt?

    Hi everyone, I don't know what to do. I got a new XS and my backup won't restore because it was 'corrupt'. Is there anyway to fix this? Luckily I have all my photos in my photo gallery on my mac + usb, it's just phone conversations and games I will have lost. I wonder why it's corrupted ):< It is an old iOS but my Iphone 7 wouldn't even update. I tried to update it and back it up but it wouldn't work. I can't delete my backup and retry it because the iPhone 7 photo gallery doesn't load in storage, and my photos say 0 on camera roll, although my phone is full, the whole thing is bizarre.

    Airplay bug shows title of previously played audio/video

    I've noticed this Airplay bug: when launching Airplay (e.g. of a YouTube video) from my iPhone to my Apple TV, there's a little thumbnail that pops up at the top right of the screen that shows the title of the audio or video I was last playing on my iPhone (e.g. podcast, YouTube video, etc) while it's loading the video or audio I just Airplayed to my Apple TV. I can imagine lots of scenarios where you wouldn't want this info to pop up.

    Has anyone else noticed this? My guess is that this only occurs because I listen to a lot of content via Bluetooth so maybe that info only comes up if you were recently watching or listening to something via Bluetooth speakers or headphones?

    This latest update has really messed with the sensitivity of the home button. A light press and what happens next is so unpredictable; launch quick pay, show cards, go to home screen - who the F knows. Anyone else experiencing this?

    I've tested the connection's speed and I got only around 3 mbps only while on my friend's android phone got around 70-100 mbps on the same connection. I've tried resetting the network setting but no luck. I dont want to upgrade to 12.2 because it has pause/unpause spotify bug

    Backup of Whatsapp chats directly on iCloud

    I have an old iPhone 5s and I am attempting to backing up the Whatsapp chat on Icloud (I have a lot of free storage on iCloud). However, I don't have enough space in the phone to do the backup, because I have only 500mb free. Is there a way to upload the backup directly on iCloud, without elaborating the data on my iPhone? I really would not know what to delete in such case.

    iOS 12.2 & Clock/Health problem

    warning... I'm a newbie so be gentle.

    I have an iPhone 5s. Prior to 12.2 I could set my bedtime & wake time in the Clock app and that time would post to the Health app as "In Bed" -- I know, duh. And that was great. Just what I wanted.

    After the update to 12.2 I am getting strange posts of "In Bed" times -- not at all what I have set as bedtime and wake time. I contacted Apple Support, took screen shots showing the data before & after update proving the erroneous entries happened after 12.2 and was told by "tech support" that it is functioning as intended.

    Really? For instance, last night I set Bedtime 02:45, Wake 11:10 and the entry to Health Sleep Analysis is In Bed 2hr 56min (08:12 - 11:08) --- huh? I didn't touch the phone all night so what the heck is that?

    I have other entries for 1min (11:10-11:11) and 1min(11:11-11:13) -- a different day but seriously, this is what they intend?

    Am I the only one seeing this strangeness?

    Another interesting note is when looking at the "Sample Details" my device is shown as an iPhone6,1 -- but that was before 12.2 as well as after, 10.3.3 when I first started playing with this feature
