I got a 2018 MacBook Pro 13" with Touch Bar yesterday, and the battery only lasts about four hours? Is this normal?

Hey guys, just got myself a mint condition 2015 13" MBP 128gb.. set me back 670$ Shipped CAD/ 510$ USD. Incredibly it's in absolute mint condition, not a screen stain, not a scratch. Less than 200 battery cycles. I absolutely LOVE it. Tried out the newer MBPs and was not a fan at all of the keyboards or port variety. Looking to eventually throw a 256 SSD in, but other than that..

Any customization tips ya'll can give? Think I got a good deal?

I've search high and low on the internet and I cannot find a solid answer - has Mojave removed the ability to sign into macOS with your iCloud login? I could have sworn that used to be an option when setting up the administrator account...

Lately I've been having issues with with my PC's battery so I decided it was time to buy another computer. All my other tech is Apple, so I thought it was time to fully commit. I ended up buying a mid 2014 13" MBP off of Swappa since I found a pretty good deal. But I haven't really used an Apple computer since the days of the Mac Classic and I have no idea what I'm doing once it gets here. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm hesitating between a MacBook Air and a Windows Surface. I'm aware of both machine's hardware and specs so I'm really juste looking for opinions. Is the current MacBook Air worth it ? Do you have insight with the machine that I can't get from a review?

Hi. Does anyone of you know if the space grey color on the MBA is as much as durable as the silver one? Does the silver color get those silver rings around the USB-c ports after using it for a while? Does that grey fades out on the palm rest spot? Thank you!

Got a big decision to make

Is it worth it coughing up ~$1.8k for a brand new 2018 MacBook Air with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, or to get a secondhand 2014/2015 MacBook Pro with 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM for ~$1.5k?

For context, i'm just a normal student, don't really require a MacBook with really high specs or anything, but it seems that i can actually get extra memory and storage at a cheaper price. Plus it's always nice to have more RAM and extra storage, even if you don't need it (right?)

I guess what i'm really asking is are there any major advantages that a 2018 MacBook Air has over a 2014/2015 MacBook Pro that i should know about?
