    OCR app for LED/LCD digits?

    I need to OCR some typical 7-segments digits from LCD displays. I tried with the most popular (free) OCR scanner apps but they seem not to be trained for such a job, albeit it seems to be much simpler than typical full-page OCR tasks.

    Do you know if such an app even exists?

    Question for Canadians: are we able to send cash via Apple Pay/iMessage? It asks for a zip code when setting up so I can’t enter the letters for my postal code

    Since one of the latest iOS updates I'm often getting the "Unable to Verify App" error message for both third-party apps and free Apple apps, e.g. Pages.

    1. Is there any setting to disable this annoying message?

    2. If not, is there any app store option or other method to automatically verify all installed apps via WiFi or maybe an app store filter that displays all apps that need to be verified?

    (My iOS 12.1.3 iPhone isn't jail-broken.)

    As someone who uses their phone quite a bit for work and personal use I wish there was a way to create groups for messages. It's a pain to go through my 75, exaggerating, different text threads to find the one from work.

    It would be great if we can assign a group that someone falls into so when they text you their messages will go into that group. Then when you open your messages you see your messages and any groups you may have. If you tap on the group you'll see all your threads assigned to that group.

    Sorry I'm not photoshop master so I can't make a fancy screenshot showing what I am thinking of.

    Receiving text tone and vibration, but no notification?

    i'm not sure if anyone else has been having this issue, but when i receive messages, i have been getting the text tones and vibrations for incoming imessages and text messages, but no actual notification in my notification center, and no badge on my imessage app. when i enter the app, it looks like the message is already read, as there's no blue dot next to the thread like normal. so unless i hear or feel my phone go off, i have no idea i've gotten a message. it's been happening constantly for about three days, i'm updated to the latest ios, iphone 7+, and just kinda wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it could be something wrong with my phone. it does this with all incoming texts/imessages, no matter who it's from. all other app notifications and badges work fine, it's only with imessage.

    I have no computer to go on since its busted at the moment and the storage in my iPad is really reaching its limit, i looked everything up in google and its all useless things wanting me to use a computer, dropbox wont show what it seems the music files i have on the Music App, this whole thing is testing me and i really need someone's help on this, its driving me crazy that something that could be done so easily on PC is frustrating to know what the hell im supposed to do here, please?

    Help with the keyboard!

    Does anyone know how to stop the suggestion of words from one language on the keyboard of another language? because I prefer to switch between keyboards when I want to write in another language and it is very annoying when the keyboard suggests words of this language when I do not want to use it.

    I can't remove no languages because I use them but I really hate these suggestions.

    I have an iPod Touch, want to update to ios 12.1.1 but when it's about to finish extracting the software a text appears saying: Your device could not be updates because the firmware is corrupted.

    New TV App which replaced video app how can I find my uploaded home videos in the TV app library

    Hi Folks,

    my video app was replaced by an app called TV . Ok so far so good (to be honest, I am a little pissed about that. It just out of nowhere there was no info box or prompt on the screen nothing, just out nowhere). Now I installed this TV app like some forum members suggested it. Question: How can i find my home videos?! Since I installed TV i uploaded two home videos via Itunes, but I cant find them in the TV app library. There supposed to be a category "home video" in the library, but there s nothing at all - "you do not have any videos". Do u know whats wrong? it so embarrasing, for the first time i had to arrange a date in the apple store for support. I hope u guys can help so i dont have to go there.

    Screentime Question

    I am Mr password in my family. I use a password manager and have all my families devices linked on iCloud family etc.

    At Christmas my son got an iPad and I was in a rush and I setup screentime restrictions. Damned if I didn't record the password and now he I can't add any time to his device because I did something I'm not proud of — I forgot the password.

    So I'm confused, I restored his iPad from new but its still asking me on my phone for the screentime password. Is it MY device I need to erase to get ride of this logjam or what?
