| iPhone 8+ with a broken screen, what are my options? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 01:42 PM PST iPhone 8+ iOS 12.1.1 So I broke my front screen. I'm trying to find the cheapest/safest way to replace it. I have an upgrade next month and the cracked screen will screw me on trade-in value. However, Verizon doesn't care how you get the screen fixed, just that it's fixed and in "perfect" condition. I've changed the battery on an iPhone 5C and 4S before no problem. But looking up directions for the 8+ front screen, I'm so scared of not doing it correctly and completely bricking my phone. My questions are:

| Sprint + 4G LTE + iPhoneSE, iPhone6, iPhone6S = No SMS messaging Posted: 16 Jan 2019 11:08 AM PST After many phone calls and long holds, I was finally told by Sprint about the known issue I have with my phone, and I wanted to help anyone else out there searching for the problem with their phones. If you have Sprint, 4G LTE data enabled with an iPhoneSE, iPhone6, iPhone6S then you will be able to receive SMS messages (like when texting an Android, the green text bubbles) but you won't be able to send them. It will delay, then red lettering will come up saying "Not Delivered" with a "!" in a circle. None of this is an issue with texting other iPhones through iMessage (blue text bubbles). The solve is turning off LTE in your Cellular settings. You can also send SMS messages while simultaneously on a call, because apparently being on a phone call disables 4G LTE data. Upon answering, his voice quickly deteriorated into a horrible down-pitched version of itself, and the call then dropped. When I tried to call him back, he couldn't hear me, nor I him, although the call had connected. I tried to facetime him, but that didn't work at all - didn't even connect, just said "facetime call failed." Another curious detail: when I attempt to place a call, the speakerphone button is unlit - it doesn't even provide the option to press it. Despite all this, my speakers work (they play sound). So I really have no idea what's going on, here. I could understand if it were a carrier issue, or a problem with my cellular software, but I don't understand why this would affect my facetime, too, which runs on wifi. Posted: 16 Jan 2019 06:58 AM PST Hey guys, I recently got a new Iphone XS Max and was having issues with my WhatsApp desktop app. When my phone goes to sleep/ screen turns black, my connection from WhatsApp seems to disconnect from the desktop app. In order to connect it back to the app, I need to unlock my phone. I tried to find some sort of "Disconnect from app when iphone sleeps" kind of option on my iphone, but can't seem to find it. If anyone could help me out it would be really appreciated.
