    So yesterday I made a post saying that I would not be contributing to this project unless coolstar was more cooperative, however if any other developers wanted to come along and pick this up, they could.

    Pleased to say, that's exactly what happened. sbingner found a new method for his JSON/apt parsing, and the Ocean Team found a way to remove the (now programmatically installed) default Electra repo AND split the cydia and sileo source list to fix the white/black screen issue with the previous version, and I'm happy to say that Sileo Compatibility Layer now works with the latest Sileo, 0.4b6.

    I had virtually no involvement other than somE small changes to the installer that "Anyone coulda done", please give all credit to the Ocean Team (esp. u/Muirey03 who ive been communicating with about this) and sbingner for this. I will continue to maintain this on my repo, but I am still basically at the point where I'm not interested in playing cat/mouse with coolstar.

    How to install

    1. Add my repo, https://samgisaninja.github.io
    2. install "sileo for unc0ver" and "sileo compatibility layer"
    3. open your favorite terminal client (I prefer MTerminal, but NewTerm2 and others will work, if you're a pr0 h4ck3r you can also use SSH)
    4. type su
    5. password is "alpine" without the quotes unless you changed it
    6. type sillyo
    7. wait for it to finish
    8. you're done!

    I'm upgrading from the previous version of this tweak

    You need to upgrade your packages, then go into terminal and re-type "sillyo". Also, your sources will be reset (just this once). Sorry about that.

    edit: its come to my attention that I was too harsh in saying I don't want to play cat/mouse with coolstar. Sileo is coolstar's software, and he can do whatever he wants with it, all I'm saying is, sileo is still in beta, and therefore changing at a pace that I do not have any desire to keep up with his changes, and won't be until sileo is OSS

    Hello,

    I use Spotify for my music. When connecting my device to my car's CarPlay unit, it always starts playing music from the Apple Music app. It just so happens I only have a couple of albums in there, and the one it always wants to play is Christmas music.

    Short of deleting all music from Apple Music, is there a tweak to stop the auto play behavior from happening? Bonus points if it can auto play the last Spotify playlist.

    apparently apple put some software restrictions that only allow it to be used on the Xs, wondering if this could be bypassed via a jailbreak tweak

    quite pathetic that they stopped supporting a 1 year old $1000 phone

    [Request] Tweak to me an Anisotropic Gradient background

    i saw that in the new apple pay icon it will have an An-isotropic icon. i thought that it would be cool if someone could make a background like that. Im imagining an oil spill type of moving background. Any thoughts?

    [Question] How to completely remove the unc0ver jailbreak and keep the same iOS, so I can re-jailbreak.

    Hey guys I just bought the new carrier crack for my iPhone 8 plus and as I was installing it through Filza, I accidentally resprung my device. Now when I try to jailbreak with unc0ver, the loading circle just continues to spin. I re-jailbroke with no tweaks, but it continues to freeze up. I've been searching around the sub for an answer. Is there a tutorial on how to completely remove the jailbreak from my device and still have the same iOS version so I can re-jailbreak? I know I might lose some data like texts and pictures but I don't care.

    [Update] BegoneCIA 0.2.1 [privacy mode] - respring loop fixes, added a feature to automatically disable it in calls and also probably fixed compatibility issue with Limneos's tweaks

    This is a beta tweak and may be buggy.

    Conflicts with: AudioRecorder, CallBar, VoiceChanger. Make sure you don't have any of these or you'll end up in a respring loop.

    Changelog

    • Added an option to disable this tweak during calls (enabled by default)
    • Fixed respring/crash loops
    • Fixed long first respring after rejailbreak
    • Fixed compatibility issue with BioProtect

    [question] Restoring rootfs on unc0ver gave me "unable to activate Face ID" error. Using rollectra, restoring rootfs again, resetting all settings doesn't fix it. Anything I should try before giving in, factory resetting and updating to stock?

    But all notifications appear normally when I swipe down after unlocking. Using Stack XI latest version (0.5.2) and have no other notifications tweaks.
