    ‪Sileo is serving packages from BigBoss directly without serving their ads which is essentially stealing their bandwidth without paying for it. If you want to use things off BigBoss you should not use Sileo to access it or you could cause it to go away permanently.‬

    I had two updates, so I decided to merge them into one post.

    PowerDown:

    • Added animation to sliders.- Changes can be seen here in this video.

    - I'll probably start adding animations to a lot of my tweaks since it's relatively easy to do and looks good.

    DesignerXI:

    • Added option to edit control files

    - This means you can change the author, description, identifier, etc. of your package, through the app.- Video demonstration here.

    [Help] Can only jailbreak (Unc0ver) by restoring rootfs

    As the title says I cannot re-jailbreak my phone (iPhone 6 11.1.2) with Unc0ver (currently 2.1.1 pre-release) without first restoring the rootfs.

    This didn't use to be a problem until about a week ago when my phone rebooted overnight and then wouldn't re-jailbreak. Now reboots happen all the time, no biggie, just re-jailbreak, I can deal. But now I can only re-jailbreak by restoring the rootfs which can take forever, and to make matters worse it wipes your tweaks so you have to start again. I've had this occur on most of the Unc0ver releases so I'm not sure what is going on with my phone or the jailbreak.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    FIXED: turn off Load Daemons - jailbreak, then re-jailbreak with Daemons loaded

    [Help] How to clone an OTG lightning flash drive to a regular flash drive so that the OTG's app recognizes regular usb stick as compatible?

    The goal - get extra storage by purchasing the least expensive mobile flash drive (ones made to be used with iOS) and then clone it to a larger USB drive that I have. I would then plug in the larger USB drive into a powered hub and then using an adapter, plug that into the device's lightning port. Ideally the app would be fooled into thinking the larger drive is the original OTG drive I purchased. Also, I shouldn't need a jailbreak to do this.

    I know what I should probably be doing is buying a larger OTG drive, but I want to figure out if this is possible so that I can experiment with doing it with an even larger external hard drive. I use procreate and edit/paint on very large resolution documents, and Procreate also stores timelapse videos, so this is why I need so much storage.

    I have been spending hours trying to find a way to do this. I even managed to use iFunBox to download the log files from the app I'm using (iPlugmate) to see what's going on on the lightning side of the flash drive so I can get a better idea of how it communicates with the app. Which is actually different than the normal USB side, I'll get to that in a bit.

    I've reformatted the larger drive, I've copied the root file system and all of the hidden files onto the larger drive, but nothing works and it keeps automatically launching Photos, and iPlugmate won't recognize it.

    I've been using the camera adapter, and something strange I noticed was that if I took this flash drive and plugged the USB side into the camera adapter and then into the lightning port, for some reason the iPad recognized it as an SD card and automatically launched Photos. But when I plugged the lightning side of the drive directly into the ipad, it worked fine and iPlugmate launched. So, that means that the way the lightning side of the drive communicates differently with the ipad. Either that, or the issue could lie in the way the camera adapter sends data from the flash drive to the ipad...

    Also I've looked into downloading apps like iFile and Filza using Cydia Impactor but none of them are compatible with my iPad. Also it seems risky to be using them, because I just want access to the flash drive and not everything.

    TL;DR I want to figure out what's going on on the lightning side of the OTG drive so I can somehow format the larger USB stick to behave that way and have the third party app recognize it.

    [question] Is Jailbreaking worth it anymore?

    The last time I had a jailbreak was with my 6s plus and I dropped my phone in a pool and got the 7s plus. I remember waiting for a jailbreak for a long time and when I finally updated my iOS a JB came out soon after. Ever since then I haven't rly followed the jailbreak community because I felt like jailbreak's were both getting harder to develop and also wasn't worth it anymore with how much iOS has been incorporating/stealing ideas from Cydia. The thing I miss the most is customizing the interface/themes.

    With all that said, I'm on 12.0 right now on Xs Max and really want Group FaceTime and the new emojis and don't know if it's worth holding out on updating when I have no idea when the next JB for iOS 12 will come out, although customizing on this huge screen would be sick af.... Is it worth waiting for anymore or should I just move on from jailbreaking? Appreciate the feedback.

    [help] tweak that remembers playback position of a song in the Music app on 11.3.1

    Is there a tweak that will remember a song position in the stock music app if I respring or go to a different song. On 11.3.1. I tried musicmark and musicmod but they don't work.

    [Tip] For those that randomly get reboots on your device, download the JB and boot with NoTweaks and disable all tweaks with iCleaner Pro then retry!

    Better safe than sorry. Always done this.

    I have a theory that in the past, if you have Activator or WatchDog installed, they apparently can cause a respring loop if you decide to rejailbreak with tweaks on.

    Just wanted to let everyone know to always (except if you have 0 tweaks but yeah) rejailbreak with no tweaks on, respring, reboot then rejailbreak with tweaks on.
