    Today, we released Ocean for Sileo. This tweak (among other things) brings back BigBoss' ads. Honestly, what Coolstar did was petty. Coolstar deliberately disabled JavaScript which in turn broke BigBoss' ads. This tweak proves that enabling javascript was all that was necessary to fix BigBoss' ads. The whole source for this can be found here as proof of how trivial it was to fix the BigBoss issue that Coolstar was claiming was much more complicated to fix. We sincerely hope this will make Coolstar pull our changes into the original Sileo but in the meantime, if you are planning on using Sileo, please use Ocean otherwise BigBoss will not get the ad revenue they deserve.

    What is Ocean?

    Update #3: Current version is 0.1.1-1. We have 0.1.1-2 in the works with some UI fixes and repo compatibility :) Should release later tonight

    Update #2: Problems with obtaining the package from Cydia should be fixed. You can download from either Cydia or Sileo now :)

    Update: We are aware of some issues with the Ocean package not showing up in Cydia. We are working on a fix for that. For now either install via Sileo or get it directly from our GitHub

    If you plan to use Sileo at the moment, we highly recommend using Ocean with it, even if you don't use any added features we have successfully enabled ads and javascript in Sileo for BigBoss and other repositories. You can use Sileo now and still support BigBoss. You should also be able to add the official BigBoss repo without issue. However the Sileo team is planning on adding this in the next update.

    Ocean is a tweak we have been working on since the initial release of Sileo. I thought it would be a good idea to try and create a Flame like tweak for Sileo. This first beta release of Ocean is to test working, stable features we have added to Sileo. There is plenty more to come. With Ocean you are able to tweak the color scheme of Sileo, export your tweaks and repositories easily and share them, get rid of the annoying red deprecated view, and much more.     Edit: We would really like to know some features you feel we could add. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated so feel free to throw any ideas out ther.

    You can download Ocean on Cydia or Sileo and it works with all distributions of Sileo including unc0ver's version. Remember this is a beta so some features may have bugs and not everything we have planned is included.

    Why the delay?

    Sileo was released around the Holiday time so everybody was busy. We hopped onto it and got a lot of it done within the first few days. Unfortunately I also lost my jailbreak so I'm not able to actively test and work on Ocean. The team held up though and we think we have a product you'll love. Thanks to u/Muirey03 who many of you may know in this community for stepping in and helping us clean up what we had left to push out this beta.

    Who's behind Ocean?

    Ocean was developed by myself, @simalary_ch, @midnightchip, @Muirey03, and @Easy_Z. We are all going to continue to maintain Ocean as we receive requests and updates of Sileo itself.

    What's to come after this beta?

    Our main goal is to get feedback from the community on features you feel need to be added to Ocean/Sileo. If you have any feature requests contact one of the developers or reply to this post! We are open to any criticism or praise you have for us and can't wait to see your reaction to our work.

    [Release] Cappd - Safely disable some daemons for a better performance.

    This is something I have been working on for quite some time, and is well-tested.

    This is also a reminder that my unloadxxx tweaks are now obsolete with the latest electra update (as it no longer executes the rc.d scripts upon jailbreaking) so if you're using any of them, installing this will automatically remove them.

    It's basically a combination of the safe-to-unload daemons.

    Currently disables: Askpermissionsd Adtrackingd Nanobackupd Tipsd Useractivityd Videosubscriptionsd Webbookmarksd

    I have had them disabled for ages, not only that I didn't run into any issues but also I'm noticing a better performance and battery life without them. (Because when they're running and crashing, my device just becomes hot and loses like 1-2% of battery every 1 minute, not to mention how they were causing ReportCrash to run all the time, which made the performance even worse).

    DetailedPowerUsage stats, highest daemon is at 2% others at 1%

    CPU idle usage 1-3%

    Tested on electra1131, running 210+ tweaks.

    Please note that Apple doesn't say much about the functionality of their launch daemons so this was just me taking the risk to disable something to see if it's necessary or not.

    [Update] Harpy - bug fixes, firmware support

    Hey guys, I finally got the update for harpy done. This update fixes the "Harpy is unavailable" bug and adds more support for iOS 9.3.5-11.3.1. I have only been able to test on my iPhone 5c and 4s so Mileage may vary, but this should work to iOS 9. Sorry for the wait.

    If you aren't aware, Harpy is an app that allows complete control over your WiFi and hotspot. It lets you control users on your network and their access to the internet.

    Harpy is available on chariz for $1.50.

    Please let me know if you have any feature requests, and I'll do my best to add them to harpy. I would have added some by now, but the harpy unavailable bug needed to be pushed first.

    Let me know if you experience any bugs.

    So I've had a bunch of issues recently with my jailbreak that I can't seem to solve with the new releases of the current Unc0ver or Electra jailbreaks. My college starts tomorrow and nothing I have tried fixes my issues.

    So an issue started occurring recently where Touch ID stopped working for me in the App Store, and also in Notes for some reason, which meant that I couldn't download apps without using my iCloud password (no matter how many times I tried to fix it in Settings) and I couldn't access any locked notes without rebooting my phone into an unjailbroken state. So I did what I normally do when my device is getting funky- I used Restore rootFS in Unc0ver and then jailbroke my device fresh, but when I went into the App Store, the problem wasn't solved. My notes were still buggy as well.

    I went and contacted the Unc0ver developers on GitHub and posted an issue. I told them that I was having these issues even when I didn't have any tweaks installed. However, before I sent in the diagnostics, I made the stupid decision to re-install all the tweaks I had before, which basically meant that they couldn't help me.

    After this epic fail, I completely removed Unc0ver, ran ElectraRemoverVFS just to be safe, and then downloaded Electra to see if that would fix anything (and I was really pumped about trying Sileo), but it turned out that the App Store issue was persistent and the Notes app still wouldn't give me the prop to use Touch ID, so I ran ElectraRemoverVFS and moved back to Unc0ver, and I decided to unlock all my Notes and just live with the App Store iCloud password to download apps. I got all my tweaks back and everything seemed to be working out all right, until this morning...

    See, I decided to search for a fast food restaurant nearby on Waze when I saw that it wasn't showing my location. It just stayed at the location I was at last and just stayed there, no arrow as if it was navigating. It gave me a message that I apparently didn't have a GPS connection, even though I had cellular data on. I figured maybe this was because I upgraded it this morning, so I downgraded to the version I was using before, but when I opened the app, it tried to set me up like a new user and I was completely logged out of my Waze account. Using NoSub didn't work either. I quickly learned that none of my maps (Google & Apple) were working.

    There are no tutorials to fix ANY of these issues, and I don't expect there to be anytime soon. I suspect it was the last few updates in Cydia that caused these issues, but I'm not gonna point any fingers, and I can't keep testing things for much longer because, like I said, I have college tomorrow and I need ALL of these issues to go away before then. It really is a tough choice for me because of how much I will lose by taking this leap. I'm still gonna hang around here because there will still be questions I can answer to the people that remain.

    Honestly, I have about 10 minutes before the update file downloads. If anyone knows how to fix these issues, this is the longest I can possibly wait. Thanks for all the support you guys gave me!

    So, currently, i tried to run cydia eraser, then i manually resetted as i was trying to update to 10.3.3 (have a 5s) and now the yalufix isnt doing anything, just says already jailbroken. I then can open cydia eraser, but i get told in different ways that there is no space, and cydia is broken. I do have 10.3.3 blobs, so if i have to just go to 10.3.3 and start over, thats fine. Any help would be appreciated.

    • Fixed RTL support once again (it broke when the 11.2.x issue was fixed in 1.0.1).

    • Fixed crash on Deezer when skipping several tracks in a row.

    • Fixed Deezer crash some experienced when starting playing from playlists.

    • Deezer now fetches the next track when starting to play from Flow.

    • The lockscreen idle timer now resets when pressing the skip button.

    [Question] Using custom phone dial tone through Filza?

    I have a custom .caf file (the right duration and volume with a silent portion of the audio file so it can loop properly) that I want to use to replace the original .caf file for the dial tone on a regular call (not FaceTime).

    When I went to try and replace the original .caf file, it didn't change my dial tone sound when making a call. I even tried closing Filza and respringing but it's still the original sound. The only thing in Filza that I could find to replace was in UISounds/nano/ringback_tone_ansi.caf (which I assumed was the original file for the phone's dial tone).

    Is the dial tone audio file in a different location? I don't know if the "nano" folder is for something else or not (such as an Apple Watch which I don't have) but I just need to know the location of the dial tone audio file or why it isn't working when I replace the one in the "nano" folder with my custom sound.

    I'm getting a 5s on iOS 7 soon and I'm not sure if it can still be activated on iOS 7 or not, since Apple did funky things with the 6s on iOS 9 and users can't activate their phones there. Did someone activate a 5s on anything below 10 recently?

    Hey y'all, I bought an iPad Pro last year which was on 11.4. Even new to me, the iPad had an update available to 11.4.1. I didn't update because I figured a jailbreak was right around the corner, but it also meant I could not save blobs.

    Now we're on iOS 12, and I still haven't updated and I still don't have blobs. At this point, I'm considering just updating to the latest so I can save my blobs, and hoping that whatever JB comes out next will cover my iOS version.

    Obviously, any answers to this question are speculation - so /r/jailbreak, how would you handle this if it were your device? Thanks for any replies!

    EDIT: My dumb ass didn't realize I don't have to update to get blobs. So now I have 12.1.1 blobs and I've answered my own question. Wish I'd realized this when 11.4.1 was the latest, but perhaps (hopefully) it won't matter.

    I've seen multiple ways to jailbreak. Some like Electra, have been known for looping so I need to know if this problem still persists. Above all I need to know if jailbreaking is worth it or should I just update to iOS 12
