    Several months ago I purchased an Apple Watch Series 3 42mm cellular. Should've waited for the Series 4 but I just had to have one.

    I work in construction. This little watch has endured all hell I have put it through, including being slammed into brick walls, dropped on tile, covered in gravel, hit with screwdrivers. I don't wear it with a case and I don't use a screen protector on it. It's gotten a few small scratches but they're not really noticeable.

    Bravo Apple for making the toughest wristwatch I've ever seen in a package this sleek and this compact.

    MCU Watch Faces for Apple Watch

    Here's a bunch of watch faces I've made for my watch. The layout of the face is based on a Super Smash Bros. set of faces created by u/Tyeforce. You can find them in this Dropbox folder which I will update regularly with new characters/people. (I plan on making a Stan Lee watch face) If there are any characters you would want me to make in this style let me know i'm happy to take suggestions :)

    imessage not working on watch - think I've figured out the cause can others try to reproduce it this way?

    There have been a few posts around about how iMessage stops working on the watch and it reverts to SMS and/or fails to send iMessages. Switching iMessage off on the phone, then back on seems to resolve the problem in those discussions. I think I've figured out how to reproduce the problem regularly, wondering if anyone else can try this to confirm:

    Reboot your watch with 'hold down side switch' - swipe to power off. When you turn it back on does iMessage still work on the watch or has it switched back to SMS? For me it has been anytime I power off the watch that starts the iMessage fails (SMS still works and all messages revert to SMS or fail to send as iMessage from the watch).

    I'm using an S4 wifi and WatchOS 5.1.2 for whatever that's worth. I have seen posts from LTE watch users too, so I don't think it's specifically related to the connection type.

    Variants of the same watch face and Raise to Wake settings.

    Hi all,

    I had a couple of questions about my apple watch:

    1. Is it possible to have variants of the same watch face? I want to have two versions of the modular face, each with different complications.

    2. Is there a setting where it automatically turns off Raise to Wake when you're sleeping (or for a certain time interval)? I wear my watch to bed so Raise to Wake can be a bit distracting. Or should I just put my watch in Theater mode before going to bed?

    [Support] Calendar, events, and reminders are synced. However my contacts are totally gone on my watch. Won’t resync when I press the reset sync data button on my iPhone.

    Latest watchOS, series 4 watch.

    I really don't want to reset my watch. Anybody have any ideas? It happened after I left my watch at home all day accidentally. Kid and wife had access to it, but it's password protected.

    Tried resetting and tried the "reset sync data" button on my phone that offers no feedback 😪

    DAE feel like its time for an iPad app for the watch? As the device gets more independent, it feels like we should be able to configure it from anywhere, including our iPad. Would also be nice if it could mirror iPad notifications as well as iPhone, and generally become more just another device in your set. What do you think?

    Looking for a Summit White Nike band in 44mm

    I recently saw at an Apple store a cool white sport loop band that I wanted. Come to find out this particular shade of white you can only get it with the watch and can't buy one separately. Go figure.

    So, after getting a genuine one on eBay from someone in Massachusetts FOR THE WRONG SIZE, I find myself on reddit on the hunt for a proper Summit White band in 44mm (and not 40mm... damn liar on the internets)

    If anyone knows how and where I can find one, that would be awesome! Thanks!

    My only complaint is when I turned it to the scanner it went black so I had to awkwardly turn it to myself (like checking the time) under the scanner. But it worked! Which is the most important part.

    Find my watch isn’t working.

    Context: Had a little scare today, my daughter (7 months) absolutely loves grabbing my watch and not letting go. So when I have to pick her up when we are out I put it in the diaper bag. Well, it wasn't there when I got home, so I went to ping it from the app, offline. Freaking out, drove back to where I was when I put it in the bag, not there, came home searched everywhere. Finally found it next to her crib, where I had pulled out a diaper to change her (must have come out with it).

    Question: It was on the whole time, connected to my phone. Why does it say offline? I even put it on my wrist, unlocked it, still offline. Pinged the phone I was looking for it with, that worked, went to search for watch, offline.... any ideas? Yes, both have been PDPU.

    I want Voice-to-Text messages, but I don't want to turn on Siri (at least not on my iPhone). Is that possible?

    Also, is it possible to get text messages appear on both my iPhone AND Apple Watch or is it one or the other?

    Friction/Broken Digital Crown. Any fixes/tips?

    Hey there r/AppleWatch!

    I've had a the series 3 since last August and I've come across a recent issue that I'm curious if anybody else has witnessed. My Digital Crown occasionally will grind against the watch itself or doesn't move as quickly as it originally did. Are there any fixers for this?
