Anyone had problems with streaming audio to Atv from Dropbox? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 02:59 AM PST It worked fine before, but now it just shows an error text. Every other app is streaming normally. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jan 2019 12:20 PM PST how does apple manage to have so much 4k version of films? even sometimes they were the only one who has it? also why is that when I buy 4k codes online, itunes tends to be cheaper [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Jan 2019 04:36 PM PST I am having trouble watching shows using the Bravo app. I have a programming subscription through Spectrum and I am allowed to log in. However, when I try to watch a show, I get the spinning indicator and then it times out. I've tried logging out and back in, as well as deleting and reinstalling the app. Any suggestions??? Posted: 18 Jan 2019 10:32 AM PST I am a 10 year, Day 1 Android user, but I am currently 30 days into experimenting with my first iPhone ever (XS Max), and I have surprised myself with believing that I will be keeping it. I have an Nvidia Shield Android TV streaming box in the living room. It has been great, and I can even AirPlay lots of things to it (and mirror the screen) with an Android app that causes iPhones to think it's an Apple TV Airplay receiver. Besides being able to Airplay paid Apple/iTunes store content to my TV (which I can't do with the Shield), what magical things am I missing out on by not having an Apple TV 4? (I actually have a 3rd gen Apple TV in a closet somewhere, but that seems like it would be inferior to the Shield at this point?) [link] [comments]
Control what appears in Up Next Posted: 18 Jan 2019 09:21 AM PST I subscribe to Hulu for live TV service. However I would like to stop Hulu from adding shows I watched live to Up Next in the TV app. For example, if I watch a couple minutes of Seinfeld and then move on to something else, the Up Next section will add Seinfeld and suggest I pick up where I left off. I'm sure some people like this feature but I want to turn it off. Is there anyway to do this for ONLY live TV? [link] [comments]
Amazon Prime app Dolby Digital 5.1 issues, still Posted: 18 Jan 2019 09:11 AM PST Last night I opened up Amazon Prime to watch the new season of The Grand Tour. It is tagged as a 5.1 sound program. Via AppleTV (4K) it would only process as 2.0 stereo on my 5.1.4 (Dolby Atmos) system. Getting off AppleTV and watching Prime via my BluRay player DD 5.1 signal was sent to the receiver and processed accordingly, (and a much improved sound over the stereo processing.) This has been an issue since the 4K unit came out, and I do not see where it has been resolved. Is there something I'm missing? Note, this is only via the Prime app. Apple TV movies, Netflix etc process just fine, even with Atmos mixed movies/shows. [link] [comments]
I cut the cord about 2 years ago, and as a result I unfortunately haven’t watched TV since........ Posted: 18 Jan 2019 10:04 AM PST I'm trying to get back in it now with a brand new TV, and brand New Apple TV 4K. I have an apartment in my house that still does have cable so I have a sign in to the cable provider. However, the package is absolute bare minimum. On the flip side, my friend, who has a different cable provider and every channel under the sun as given me his login (optimum in Long Island New York). I'm trying to figure out the best way to use this. I currently got into the show Ray Donovan on showtime and had to download that app onto my Apple TV to watch. Is this how it really works? I have to download each individual channel to view? There not like a way to browse what the cable company has all at once? This interest started yesterday when I posted in this group a pic of my TV with the Hue Lights behind it, and getting great ideas from others on syncing them with what I'm watching. So piggy backing off that, I know I could do that through the Hue Desktop app, but what brought me here is that I don't even know where to find content to watch from my Mac computer. I went to iTunes for some movies and shows but everything had to be purchased. Is that really what has to be done to watch in a Apple TV? [link] [comments] |
