This may not be an iOS issue since I have only seen it happen when sharing things to FB Messenger, but does anyone know why it turns into this language? I'm American/English speaking. It only does it when I share from an app (Reddit pictured) to the Messenger app. ??
Looking for a good contacts app for stirring phone numbers and notes added to the numbers.

I'm looking for a way to keep certain apps from using WiFi data, but don't see anything good via Google etc. and figured one of you might have a similar problem. For example, I have business apps that I don't want using my WiFi connection at home and/or counting against my ISP data cap

How to export an iOS calendar to an ICS file?

Hi.

Back in the days, there was an app called ShareCal which could export all calendar events of a given calendar to a single ICS file, and attach it to an email. The application, now long gone from the App Store, were broken by iOS 11. Yesterday, I tried Calex, but it's a dud. Aside from requiring to select a time period reaaally slowly, this shit exports empty files.

Do you guys know an app which can export a single entire selected calendar to a single ICS file, and save it with Files or to an email?

iOS 12.1.2 an update is required to activate error on iphone 7.

So I just reset my iPhone 7 via itunes, and now as soon as it boots up it says "Unable to activate - an update is required to activate your iphone" with a "No Signal" and exclamation mark where the carrier name goes. Does anyone know how I can go about fixing this?

Swiping in files app

I have a bunch of pdfs in the files app. While scrolling upwards, any slight deviation from vertical switches the open file to the adjacent one. This is obnoxious because my thumb moves in an arc, so every other page I've opened a new file. Is there a way to turn this off? Multitasking gestures turns it off between apps, but not inside the files app.

Where is Reeder 4?

Hey guys, Reeder 4 should be released in 2018 but the App is still missing. On iPad Pro 2018 Reeder 3 is broken and there is no fix.

I love Reeder and it is one of the most used App for me but I hate the communication of the developer. I hope the release is not far away.

“Primary” added for every SMS

How can I get the messages app to stop adding "Number changed to Primary" after every SMS message? Is anyone else seeing this?

This is on an iPhone 7 on 12.1.2, resetting the network settings works for a little bit, then I lose service again after an hour or two. Same with removing and re-inserting the SIM and hard resetting, the problem goes away then comes right back.

I really can't imagine it being a hardware problem, what the best way to go about trying to get rid of the issue? Thanks guys.

What is Offloading an App? What are the risks?

Hi, I cannot understand this offload feature and even though I haven't done a good google search, I cannot seem to find an official Apple post about it.

Why does Apple delete the app? Will the app still send notifications? What if I don't use the app often but the app has critical information and I need the notifications. Such as, let's say a tsunami or earthquake warning? Does it even make sense to offload this app?

When I develop an IOS app, can I define the app as a critical and prevent it from being offloaded? Or can I still send notification?

How to set the default email address for each contact in a group on IOS.

When I compose a new group message on any IOS 12 device, I type in the group name and select the group listed, but it adds every email address that each contact has. On my Mac I can edit the distribution list and set the default for each person, and I did for this group too. But on IOS there is no option and for me it just adds every email address I have for them (their home, work and others) I don't feel like making separate contacts for every single email address I have for my group. Is this a problem for others and if so how did you solve it? Thanks.

Whenever I make a new event, it's defaulting to a date in the past (usually the oldest event date on my calendar). I've tried googling to no avail on how to have it default to today's date. Anyone experience this before?
