Posted: 14 Jan 2019 06:16 AM PST So using airdrop the first time with a friend I'm really confused. I've tried to drop 500 pictures, but on my friends screen it says only 300 will arrive. Other way around is limited to like 60. So we have to manually send blocks (I myself up to 300, my friend up to 60). My friend told me it's also with other friends. Wtf is that? If there's a limit, why isn't it enforced by iOS? Or split by itself? It's sending like the middle part if it's too much. Is airdrop really that broken? We constantly need to say: I send 77 pictures, how much are you receiving? 77! Ok go ahead Bonus question: How can I as a receiver the the process? [link] [comments]
iOS 12 and wifi calling on AT&T help needed Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:37 PM PST I'm in Dubai and about to head to India. I can't seem to get wifi calling to work with AT&T. I've purchased the 3GB passport plan that's good for a month but you still get billed for calls and I need to check in with the family, etc. I've done everything I can think of including factory resetting my phone. Is there anything else I can do or is this feature just dead? iMessages don't seem to want to work either when on the network only when I disconnect the wifi do they go through. I can surf the web while connected and the network is working fine. It's pretty fast overall. Any help lease? [link] [comments]
Down time automatically locking Internet? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 05:28 PM PST I'm using downtime in a way that admittedly is not the way Apple thought people would. I have it set to automatically turn on at a certain time and block only one app, I've left every other app in my "always allowed" list. That being said it's also blocking Internet, so if I try and go on safari even though it's in my always allowed to list it doesn't work. Is this normal? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2019 08:43 PM PST I just recently switched to iOS and got an iPhone 8 Plus. I was wondering if other owners have noticed frame drops and lag so I could figure out if I need to try a restore. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2019 01:33 PM PST I enjoy listening to the podcasts at LuxuriaMusic. iOS Safari will play a minute or so then restart. It does this continuously. I use TuneIn to listen to it but cutting and pasting from Safari to TuneIn is a hassle, and TuneIn is garbage. Is there an app that just streams MP3s from the web? [link] [comments]
[question] ios12 App passwords Posted: 13 Jan 2019 07:35 PM PST Does anyone has experience how to link a password to an app? Some apps allow you to lookup the passwords from a password manager? Right now it seems that you still have to lookup the user/password manually, where as in websites it determines it through the url. [link] [comments]
iOS 12 constantly disconnect from 5Ghz wifi Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:05 PM PST I'm experiencing constant disconnect from 5Ghz wifi on my iPhone X with the latest iOS 12 (12.1.2). I've tried these methods:
Anyone out there experienced the same issue? [link] [comments]

How to see ALL potential app permissions (iOS 12) Posted: 13 Jan 2019 09:39 PM PST I'm aware that permissions can be changed in Settings>Privacy or Settings>AppName, however the specific permission does not show up until the first time you try to use something that requires that permission. For instance, Contacts will not show up under Gmail unless you try composing an email and clicking a button that says you can more easily send emails to contacts (and then accept or deny permission). Is there a way to see all of the permissions an app can potentially access without manually trying to get the app to ask for permission for each thing? [link] [comments]

What are some good ios ports of pc games? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:33 AM PST Been wondering - There are some good ports like Civ 6, Baldurs gate, Heroes of Migh and Magic 3, but are ther some other good ports you know from PC and which might be not that well known but still worth checking? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2019 03:01 PM PST I broke my iPhone 6 and nothing can be done. Unfortunately, I lost all the pictures on it. I wonder if it's possible to take another iphone 6 and change the memories between them so I can have all the pictures on the new iPhone. [link] [comments]
Looking for a "Share Tweet via Reddit" activity Posted: 13 Jan 2019 09:53 AM PST On Android, when viewing a tweet in Twitter or another third party app, you can long press the tweet to copy the text, then use the in-app share feature to share to Reddit and it auto-opens a Reddit submission page. On iOS though, I can't find any combination of Twitter/Reddit apps that allows you to share a tweet directly to Reddit, you instead have to copy the URL, switch apps, go back, copy the tweet, etc. etc. Other apps are listed - most messaging apps, firefox, and for some reason some of my financial apps - but not a Reddit app that would allow the tweet to be submitted to Reddit. Is anyone aware of a way to get any Reddit app to show up in the "share" activities on iOS? [link] [comments]
