For anyone with bad iPhone X battery life, try a restore! Posted: 22 Dec 2018 04:02 AM PST I've been reading a lot about how good Xr is and how it's a whole lot better than the X. I've used both and in my day to day usage, the Xr is only slightly better than the X. Sometimes the X lasts longer. Everyone having bad battery life is either having a bad battery, or restored from an old backup with corrupted files. It may run perfectly fine, but it can drain the battery. I suggest trying a restore and setting it up as new. As for my settings, I just turn off location services for apps I don't use and use dark themed apps. Given the choice, I'd pick the X over an Xr because it's a more premium product. Edit: battery health is 88%. https://imgur.com/gallery/Zho0na9 Edit 2: why aren't the screenshots showing up?!https://imgur.com/a/IXRCXTE/ [link] [comments] |

Lighting to 3.5 mm adaptor no more working after ios 12.1.2 Posted: 22 Dec 2018 01:36 AM PST I purchased an iPhone X couple of days ago. It was on ios 11.3. At that time I didn't check the original adaptor than came with box working or not. I updated to ios 12.1,2 and yesterday I plug in adapter and then a headphones in it but my iPhone isn't recognising the adapter. What is issue? [link] [comments] |
Replacement phone/WiFi passwords Posted: 21 Dec 2018 05:50 PM PST I cracked my screen today, have a replacement phone on its way to me, should have it by Weds AM. Once I log on to iCloud, will my WiFi passwords sync up? I'm having my phone delivered to work, I want to set it up there. I don't have the WiFi password, my boss put it in my current phone. He will be out of the office for 2 weeks [link] [comments] |
