| 10 month iPhone X at 86% Max Capacity, only ever really use Fast Charging Posted: 28 Dec 2018 01:52 AM PST Is this concerning that my iPhone X (bought February) is now at 86 percent? I'm a heavy smartphone user & I only ever use my USB-C to Lightning cable with a 29W charger to charge my iPhone X for the most part. Should I stop using a fast charger so prominently? I heard that doesn't harm the battery because it tapers off the fast charging at ~80% and charges normally after it reaches that threshold (which I've witnessed for myself but have no idea on if it has long-term damage on the battery). Also, if it is concerning - would I still be able to get a battery replacement under warranty? [link] [comments]  |
| Weird sound in video playback? Posted: 28 Dec 2018 01:43 PM PST I record videos using my X quite frequently for vlogs and other types of content. I was filming a product review on my phone and I realized that, during playback, there was some sort of wishy-washy or "gurgling" type of sound that would distort my voice at parts in the video. I thought I fixed the issue by purchasing an external mic to record with but it does not seem to help completely. Wondering if any of you had a similar experience and could offer any insight? According to some users there's no problem , whereas others say that it will cause the screen protector to come off. Does anyone know? Or has any experience?
