    Why is the facebook app on the iPad so inferior?

    You cant even view gif on the actual page. You cant even watch video while scrolling. And the page just looks weird, so many empty spaces. You cant even turn off notification from certain post. Why cant it be more like the iPhone app?

    Siri is super slow on my iPhone X

    Doesn't matter whether I'm on a Wi-fi connection or on 4G. Siri is often incredibly slow or won't bother responding at all (my phone will give the ding sound when I say "hey siri" but won't say anything and eventually just quits).

    Now, I'm one of the lucky recipients of one of those faulty iPhone X models that have a trashy NIC, causing mediocre Wi-fi and cellular connections but I question whether that's the issue here, as all other functions are okay.

    Not to mention a relative has an iPhone 8 where, although faster than my X, Siri is still kinda slow.

    Anyone else having this issue? Siri is pretty unusable for me at the moment. I never know when it's gonna work and when it won't.

    Is it possible to sign in to iCloud.com and access your iMessages, and or send + receive new messages through the website or program on PC like you can with android messages for web?

    Merging iMessage

    Maybe most everyone knew this, but it may help some. My boss broke his screen and we couldn't get into the phone and of course, he didn't have a backup in iTunes or iCloud turned on. So I gave him another phone and ordered a screen for the broken one. I installed the screen (what a pain on the 7) and got into the phone. I turned on iCloud, synced photos and iMessages, along with the other standard stuff. Just for good measure, I installed Google photos and put all 400+ photos on Google. I then when to his new phone and set up iCloud and Photos and iMessages and synced. They all synced to the phone including his old iMessages.

    TLDR: Apple merges iMessages when syncing from different devices, cool.

    Is anyone else experiencing this audio problem?

    I have an iPhone 7+ and when I sometimes plug my earbuds in and open any music app like Spotify or Apple Music and attempt to play a song it just glitches so I'm forced to close the app. To get the app to function normally and to be able to play a song I would have to unplug my earbuds play the song first then plug my earbuds in again to listen to it. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This phone is only one month old btw.

    Silent Except Keyclicks

    Hello All,

    I am not sure if I am in the right place for this, so apologies if I need to go elsewhere.

    I'm a big fan of completely muting the phone. I don't like tones for anything. Except I really enjoy the sound of the iPhone keyclicks. Is there a way I can set everything to vibrate EXCEPT keyclicks?

    Hello,

    Taptic vibration when 3D touching sometimes doesn't work - from time to time, it randomly stops working until I lock and unlock the phone or go to the notifications and click a flashlight button.

    Is anyone of you having the same issue? I'm on iOS 12.1

    How to use new iPhone (restored from old one) when you don't know the iCloud password?

    Howdy,

    Was just helping my mother try and get her new 6s (11.4) set up. Restored the backup from her old 4s. All went well, except she has no clue what her iCloud password is; and the iforgot site won't work because the backup email is something she doesn't have access to, and it's not recognising her date of birth in order to enter security questions (she is elderly, so seems to have fluffed these details when setting it up originally!).

    It sometimes asks her for the password repeatedly, despite pressing the 'not now' button. When trying to sign out, it asks for a password so 'find my iPhone' can be switched off.

    Is there any way to get the 6s to a state where it has her old text messages and photos from the old phone, but we can start again with a new iCloud address?

    I've googled and searched this reddit a lot without success!

    Is there a way to keep videos locally on my iPhone?

    I really like iCloud and everything, but there is a map with videos (in Apple Photos on iOS) that I want to access without having it to download it from the cloud. There should be a 'legit/easy' way to do this, right?

    Apple approves TRAI DND app for India after a long tussle with Indian Govt.

    Please refer the screenshots here before arriving at any conclusion. The implementation is pretty great compromise between what Apple stands for and what Indian regulatory body (TRAI) was asking for.

    This particular case is a great example of phobia that Apple has towards privacy related topics. They believe in being "better safe than sorry" approach which I appreciate a lot.

    But we do need to remember that discussions/tussle like these (Apple vs TRAI) foster growth for Apple by forcing Apple to tread uncharted paths while still ensuring the core principle of privacy first.

    My Jailbroken iPad Air 2 on 9.3.3 was fine for 2 years, I fell asleep watching Youtube yesterday and woke u to a dead battery.. When I charged it and turned it on it showed me the 'Hello' message you get when you first buy it.. Then giving me the following message..

    Is my data gone? Is my jailbreak gone? Do I have to restore it now or is there another way to fix it?
