Posted: 24 Dec 2018 07:15 AM PST I cant believe such a basic feature which is skip the inbox and send to specific label doesn't allow notifications within the IOS app. Works on the Android version of Gmail and used to work on the IOS version of Gmail but was removed a while back. This is frustrating considering my company utilizes Google Enterprise (Gapps). Has anyone else had this issue ? Can you recommend another strong email app that allows label notifications ? | Posted: 24 Dec 2018 06:03 PM PST I'm trying to download boot camp for macbook pro so I can get windows 10 and eventually be able to play overwatch. I'm having some trouble and I have a few questions: 1.) How much storage do I actually need? I have 48 GB available but IDK if that's actually enough for everything. 2.) Do I have to buy windows 10 first? 3.) Bootcamp won't let me press "continue" because it says I need 40 GB of space but I have 48 available. What gives? PS. | Posted: 24 Dec 2018 09:10 PM PST When going into the view within a conversation to view all photos sent or received, my XS keeps loading a few pictures, then gets to a thumbnail that hasn't loaded and snaps back to the top. | Video Player other than QT7 that can scale videos bigger than the screen? Posted: 24 Dec 2018 08:30 PM PST Every video player that I've tried (QT, VLC, IINA) except QT7 is unable to scale videos bigger than the screen. If I have a video that it higher res than my screen and I need to see the full detail, it is not possible. "Actual Size" and "Double Size" are disabled if it won't fit on the screen. | iPhone X and tap water don't mix Posted: 24 Dec 2018 07:34 PM PST My iPhone X got dirty earlier today and I thought that since it was certified as IP67 I should just quickly run it under the tap. It was under water for like 2 seconds with the port facing down so no water would get inside, and the display immediately stopped working. I restarted it and it worked for a few minutes before doing the same thing again. I could hear the music that was playing and siri, so i know it is just the display. Right now it is soaking in rice. I looked in the SIM slot and the indicator is white, meaning it does not register as water damaged. What do I do? [link] [comments]  |

At first I thought it was because I was going through Instagram videos and they needed to "change" audio sources but then I was texting someone and they were popping repeatedly. | Recovering photos from dead iPhone after my Apple ID was stolen Posted: 24 Dec 2018 11:46 AM PST About a year and a half ago, my Apple ID password was somehow stolen and my phone was ransomed. The thief was able to place a lock on my Iphone, along with a message on the background saying 'Iphone Locked: Pay $50 in bitcoin to (a email address) for it to be unlocked'. Obviously I did not do this and Apple pretty much told me they can't do anything about it. I ended up getting a new phone and a new Apple ID. My question is, I still have this Iphone. I'm not able to do anything with it and it still displays the message asking for bitcoin payment. Is there any way I can recover the photos from the phone? I do not have any access to the Apple ID or cloud backup, I just have the physical phone itself. [link] [comments]  |
| Bought AirPods, now I have no audio on calls unless I have them enabled. Posted: 24 Dec 2018 11:41 AM PST I recently bought some AirPods but now when I try to make or receive calls there is no audio unless I have my AirPods paired. Even if I'm at the office and the AirPods are at home, I have no audio. The speakerphone icon is also disabled. I tried disabling Bluetooth but that didn't help. I know it's not my cell service, as I am posting this via the reddit app on my note 9 which is on sprint, same with my iPhone and my iPad is on att. | Problem after deleting Bluetooth plist file Posted: 24 Dec 2018 06:09 AM PST I was having problems with some Bluetooth headphones not connecting to my mac properly, so I searched for a solution online. All the websites I looked at told me to delete the bluetooth.plist file. So, I deleted the file and restarted my Mac. Then, I go to the Bluetooth menu in System Preferences, and there are random strings of numbers and letters where the device names used to be. | Macbook Pro with touchpad, broken screen and trying to get access to f1 but not showing any F(1-12) Posted: 24 Dec 2018 07:21 AM PST Hello so i broke my screen on my macbook pro and i connected it to a monitor so i can put all information on an external hard drive. When i connect my macbook to the monitor using HDMI it just shows a background with nothing on it. I think the shortcut to get it to the screen from the laptop would be F1+Command, but there is no F buttons on the touch screen. Only shows: ESC, brightness up/ down, keyboard brightness up/down and volumes/ mute. How can i make it show F1 so i can use my macbook on my monitor. Thank you in advance! [link] [comments]  |

My current 15" MBP mid-2010, 2.4ghz Intel i5 and 4gb ram. I don't have any major problems with it but have to reset it after a day or two of use as it gets laggy. Am I getting a real upgrade on the newest, cheapest 27" iMac (3.5 quad i5, 8gb ram)? I'm mainly looking at it for the screen but I don't know if it's worth it to get the computer with the 5k 27" screen? Any thoughts? [link] [comments]  |
