[question] Frosted Glass on the back? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 10:34 AM PDT Since I've seen the Pixel 3's back with that soft frosted glass on the back, I can't stop trying to find a way to do that to my iPhone X. I'm looking at trying some spray made for frosting glass and just covering the edges and camera with tape for protection. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know! Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:15 AM PDT i dont understand why, but my iphone 8 plus after updating to ios 12 was absolutly amazing. better then before. so i figured the iphone X would get the same results there not that much different internally. but my battery took a solid hit after the update.--im still waiting a day or too so it settles. but its quite annoying that things happen. id like to not have to worry about updates. i find myself worrying every time a update is released. Faint Horizontal Lines on screen? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 09:27 PM PDT I've noticed that my iPhone X seems to have faint horizontal lines on the whole screen, most visible with full brightness on a white background (and for some reason in the control center with a white background). Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I fear it may be water damage, I've brought my phone in the bathroom while I take showers, maybe the steam got inside? Unfortunately the effect isn't visible through a video of the screen, otherwise I'd post a video showing you all. Any thoughts on what I should do? [link] [comments] | ||

iOS 12 broke 2 of my Iphone X's. Posted: 12 Oct 2018 12:37 AM PDT So I decided to upgrade to 12 today, I was on the last release for 11, turns out that was a mistake to do as it essentially bricked my X. Immediately went to apple, they replaced it, updated to ios 12 in store, then took it home and restored from backup, phone ends up in same state. Now I'm left to believe that it whatever was on my phone whether it's an app or who knows is most likely causing the problem as the backup does the same thing. So I'm not sure whether for the next replacement to restore from backup and then update and see if it does it again or just restore and remain ios 11 in order to keep all of my stuff. Either way, owning an X has been one of the most frustrating iphones I've ever owned in the history of iphones. Regardless, I remember there being an app that can access backups so you can extract items from it, anyone remember the name? [link] [comments] |
