    I have an iPhone 6 here that I thought was carrier blacklisted from a few years ago. Replaced the screen and it turns out that's not the case. It's still on 8.4 jailbreak from when I last used it. Is it possible to save the shsh blobs with the device being jailbroken?

    Edit: For more clarification the plan is to upgrade it within the hour to 12.1. I'm wanting to save blobs for 8.4 in the unlikely case I ever want to downgrade back to it.

    [Release] A Useless Package Manager (AUPM) - Beta 15

    Hey /r/jailbreak! We skipped a couple betas (from 12 to 15) but I've made some cool improvements that I thought y'all should know about.

    To preface this whole introduction: this is a beta release and is no means a final product. I'd appreciate any and all feedback you guys can provide in order to help me out with bugs and other things (as I currently don't have a jailbroken iOS 11 device).

    Here is everything that has changed from beta 7 to beta 12

    Packages

    + When clicking on a link in a package depiction, the link will bee opened in a new page.

    Repos

    + Added a verification popup when adding a repo.

    + If a repo fails verification, the popup will re-appear with the URL still entered.

    \* Fixed a 404 error when adding certain repos.

    Misc

    ~ Updated the UI of the homepage and the default depiction page.

    + AUPM will detect what jailbreak you are using (based on what .apps you have installed) and install the default repos for you (this only happens on the first install, if you want to try it out: delete `/var/lib/aupm/aupm.list` and then re-open AUPM).

    ~ Updated launch screen UI.

    If you get some notifications from AUPM about several packages being upgradeable but then when upgrading them they don't exist, you're probably missing some repos in Cydia vs. AUPM (most common occurrences are the Electra Repos or the unc0ver repo) just add those repos and then delete saurik's and the issues should go away.

    You can download it by adding my repo to Cydia https://xtm3x.github.io/repo and downloading the AUPM (BETA) package and launching AUPM from the home screen (if it doesn't show up, run uicache). The UI is also pretty lacking but I'm working on functionality before getting to any UI prettiness.

    TL;DR: Someone announced another Cydia alternative but this time there's actually something to test. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback/suggestions on AUPM (as it is probably very buggy, especially on iOS 11). Repo is https://xtm3x.github.io/repo. You can follow me on Twitter for updates @xTM3x.

    I want to jail break an ipad 5th gen running on ios 10.3.1. Which one of these two jailbreaks is most stable? I have read about touch id issues on certain jailbreaks and cydia not working. I have never jailbroken an apple device and could use some advice. Is there a jailbreak better than the ones mentioned?

    [Question] Activator open app in bypass mode stuck in lockscreen?

    I made an event that start an app from lockscreen (with device locked of cause) with bypass option enabled, however the app just stuck at lockscreen, I can't proceed to lockscreen to unlock my phone (pressing home button, TouchID none working). Is there a proper way to go back to lock screen after opened the app? I have to kill it the app from SSH to regain access to lockscreen, which defeat the purpose to launch app from lockscreen bypassed. SSH command or anything that will have me gain access to the lockscreen will do, without killing the opened app of cause :).
