    PSA: You can copy your Stardew Valley save file to another device using the Files app. iTunes not needed!

    Once you have started a farm on one device, you can access your save file from within the Files app. So if you started on your iPhone and want to continue on your iPad, you can open the Files app on your iPhone -> open 'On My iPhone' -> Stardew Valley -> copy the folder inside -> paste into iCloud Drive.

    Now on your iPad you can copy that folder from iCloud Drive into the Stardew Valley folder in the 'On My iPad' section.

    You have to have started a farm on both devices first before the Stardew Valley folder will appear.

    You can also do this to share save files between PC/Mac by using iCloud Drive on www.icloud.com.

    Still not as good as iCloud syncing but at least it's something.

    Stardew Valley partial Mfi support?

    Just tried using my Nimbus on Stardew Valley and you can move the character and do some item selection, but that appears to be all. I am guessing this is happening because of Mfi support being in the tools used to port the game over to iOS but hopefully it is also a good sign of future support.

    Jigsaw Puzzles

    I really like Magic Jigsaw Puzzles but the ads are awful and it appears you have to subscribe for $20 a month to make them go away. Which isn't how I remember this app a year ago. Not sure if buying the $2-$5 puzzle packs still forces ads on you but before I pay to potentially look at more ads I wanted to see if anyone has recommendations.

    Stardew Valley battery observations

    After about 45 min of play on an Xs:

    Doesn't get warm at all. Battery dropped only a few percent.

    It seems to be battery efficient and runs like a native app, at least on an Xs (and probably also on an 7, 8, X)

    Building game similar to Factorio?

    Hey guys! Basically I'm looking for a strategy / building game where you look on top of your buildings, similar to Factorio. I don't care so much about the setting (sci-fi, fantasy, etc) but more about the concept. I would be thankful for every recommendation.

    So stardew valley was released and i always loved harvest moon-like games so i was about to buy it but decided to see that there already is harvest moon games for mobile devices, my question is, are those harvest moon games any good? Or is stardew valley the superior game on mobile devices?

    Games similar to Pocket Legends?

    I've always been a huge fan of Pocket Legends ever since the game released, and i'm not sure why it just feels boring and dead. I remember how active the developers used to be on the game but now it seems as if they have other games to take care of.

    I'm looking for a good alternative that has the same gameplay and progression as Pocket Legends but with a more active community and staff. I'm not sure why i haven't been able to find a game similar to Pocket Legends or if i'm just not looking in the right place. So i'm asking you guys if there is any games that has the Pocket Legends feel of beating bosses with friends in real time and battling for rare loot.

    NOVA 3 has been updated.

    For those who don't know, NOVA 3 used to be one of Gameloft's most popular first person shooters on mobile.

    It was basically the closest thing to Halo on mobile, with an offline story campaign, nice graphics, and various multiplayer maps.

    Unfortunately, when iOS 11 killed numerous 32 bit apps, NOVA 3 was one of them. Users who updated their phones couldn't play it anymore.

    Fortunately, Gameloft's finally released a new version that's compatible with iOS 11.

    I haven't purchased it yet (played the freedom edition on my iPhone 4), but hopefully, it'll be just as good as it was back then.
