Yosemite Install Drive boots to Main System. Posted: 11 Aug 2018 01:54 PM PDT Hey. I want to install Yosemite on my Late 2006 15" 2.33GHz MacBook Pro. Used macOS Extractor / AutoPatch and created a bootable Drive (used an internal HDD for this, the Mac won't boot from USB for reasons). If i try to start the installer from the Startup Manager, it will just boot into my main System on my SSD. Also tried the "bless"-Command (sudo bless --folder /Volumes/OS\ X\ Base\ System --file /Volumes/OS\ X\ Base\ System/System/Library/CoreServices/boot.efi --setBoot), now it is shown as "EFI Boot" instead of "OS X Base System", but still won't boot. MacBook Pro Late 2006 Bootloop Posted: 11 Aug 2018 05:28 AM PDT Hi! My MacBook Pro Late 2006 is stuck in a Bootloop. It starts, loads and restarts. I've created a OS X 10.7.5 bootable USB-Stick, but the Startup Manager doesn't show the USB. CMD+R doesn't work either, it just starts and restarts, recovery won't start.
