    My phone never had any significant battery drainage it would last me through the day fine. However, bored I wanted to see how much I can actually improve my battery life. (IPX iOS 11.3.1)

    Step 1 1. Open Filza and look for com.apple.backboardd.plist in System/Library/LaunchDeamons 2. Click on it, click on the ! on the right side and disable RunAtLoad and KeepAlive (DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING just switch on -> off) 3. Save, and reboot your phone.

    Step 2 Install a tweak Called [Jetslammed]

    And boom!! On a normal work day 8am-9pm I get about 60% on a single charge! Without using my car charger. Today I've been playing games using maps, watching YouTube vids all day!! from 8am till now 5:18 pm I'm on 50%. Usually I would be around >20%. I also noticed no re-springs or crashes what's so ever. So yea just a heads up.

    P.s I did not discover any of this, this was posted from other subreddits.

    Edit: I have no clue what these changes do... I'm only reporting my results, other device could have a complete different outcome. Maybe a developer could shed some light on this.

    • information to backup file before editing (for example creating duplicate in the same directory named com.apple.backboardd.plist.bak) If i'm understand it correctly backboardd daemon is a critical part of the operating system so people should be really careful with editing such files and since part of it's function are hardware events we should have backup plan (for example ssh connection to restore file from .bak version) in case touch events will stop working.

    Minimalistic notifications for iPhone X

    Stop notification banners from taking up your valuable screen space. StatusNotifyX displays your notifications as a colored bubble around your status bar clock. Basically like the phone call indicator, but for banners. It takes the color directly from the app icon and uses that for the bubble. The bubble shows one pulse of color (light -> dark -> light) then vanishes. Tapping on the bubble will launch the app the notification is from. No settings to configure.

    It is currently waiting to be accepted to the BigBoss repo, but if you want to download it now, you can.     Fortnite is releasing an exclusive skin for any Note 9 or Tab S4 owners. Some people on r/Fortnite were saying that the Galaxy Note 9 can be emulated on any android phone to get the skin, is that possible on iOS?

    [Update] Swipe2Hide - Swipe away the dock and statusbar !!

    Swipe down on the dock to hide it swipe up where it was to bring it back.

    Also works with floatingdocks (ie. FloatyDock, FloatingDock, and iPad << maybe?)

    With floating docks swipe down to hide it then tap the bottom of the screen to bring it back at least for FloatyDock. (Does not seem to work with FloatingDock)

    Swipe left on statusbar to hide it swipe right to bring it back.

    Hiding statusbar works everywhere !!

    Haptic feedback when hiding/unhiding.

    Changes:

    • Fixed statusbar not hiding
    • added settings to enable/disable everything

    And also expand the number of tweaks that there is for the OLED users. I can't really find a lot of tweaks that takes advantage of this use yet (which I find weird this far into jailbreaks on the Iphone X). But like just as simple as android features, notifications and clock & weather. I like dots but that isn't updated either. Is it harder to do tweaks like this? (asking of curiosity, I have no idea)

    Also, if you have any Always on Display tweaks that you use on 11.4b3 please list them below!

    It's working on my X, iOS 11.3.1 as my discharge is now under 400mA whereas before it would go above 700mA and high temps.

    I feel like this is essential but lacking functionality. I like having a sequence of alarms that I use to wake me up with ideal spacing. I don't always have to get up at the same time every day though (maybe an early meeting or class), so changing the whole sequence is incredibly cumbersome.

    ... depending on your POV.

    In short, I like how when I raise the phone the screen wakes up. I don't like that the screen turns on when I place my phone on the table or sometimes when I move it from one end of the table to the other.

    Technically it should be easy to do just by adjusting the sensitivity of the accelerometer or something like that... not a dev so no idea what I'm talking about.

    [Request] A tweak to “break” CarPlay; make CarPlay think the car is always parked

    Apple put a lot of limitations into this thing, for safety, of course, but I tend to think it causes more problems.

    Siri is garbage for a lot of my music as an alternative to using my fingers. When not in park, you can't access your entire music library with your fingers. It forces you to use Siri at some point. Siri is dumb about some artists and albums. Sure it can understand Sade is pronounced Shar-dae and Wale is pronounced as Wa-lae, but it thinks Extol pronounces is X-toll. And then there's another really annoying feature where it automatically changes depending on what happens with the accelerator. When I've found an album I like and have clicked on it but the light turns green so I begin going, CarPlay goes back to the main menu. Additionally, if I have a passenger who is controlling the radio and I am driving and they click on something and then the car comes to a stop, it cancels whatever you were on and goes to the main menu. It's supposed to be for safety so you're not paying attention to it but I feel it makes you pay more attention to it than if they didn't because they screwed up what you were doing.

    It'd be great to get a tweak that could break this functionality and trick CarPlay into thinking the car is always in park except, of course, when you're using Apple Maps or whatever. Not sure how doable it is but it'd be great to have.

    [Request] make a tweak that can add the album artwork next to the song when I click from the artist icon. It would be SOOOO much easier to see which album is which. Especially if you have like 100 songs from an artist and you’re looking for a specific album
