    [Tutorial] Downgrade Snapchat to 10.22.2 for old UI / Phantom Lite (iOS 10 - 11)

    I posted this earlier but deleted it due to the issues people were having, I seem to have found a fix for most crashes though. Still no fix for connection issues AFAIK.

    WARNING: This may still get you banned but I've actually been using it for about a week with no bans.

    1. Delete any snapchat tweaks installed if any and download the lastest version of snapchat and sign into your account

    2. Add these two repos in cydia:

    1. Download "AppStore++" and "Apps Manager" from both repos

    2. Open Apps Manager, find snapchat in the applications list and select it, then select "Backup"

    3. Delete snapchat, then search for it in the Appstore and tap and hold on the cloud icon, select "Upgrade/Downgrade" and select version 10.22.2

    4. Once snapchat is done installing, don't open it yet. Open apps manager again and select snapchat then select restore and restore the backup you made earlier

    5. Open snapchat and you should be logged in on version 10.22.2!

    If the app crashes on startup, turn on airplane mode before opening it and turn it off once the app is open. This crash is due to snapchat trying to download lenses that probably aren't compatible with the old version of snapchat, if anyone could find a more convenient way to fix this it would be appreciated.

    EDIT: To fix crashes, open filza and navigate to /var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/Snapchat/Documents and delete scheduledlenses.plist. If you still get crashes after that, delete scheduledlenses.plist again then make a folder and name it scheduledlenses.plist

    To refresh stories, install "LaunchInSafeMode" from cydia and 3D touch on snapchat and press safe mode, this will launch the app without tweaks and let you refresh your stories. Restart the app afterwards to start snaphat with tweaks. Thanks to u/Domixin for the suggestion.

    If you are on iOS 10 install phantom lite, but DO NOT INSTALL THIS ON iOS 11. If you are on iOS 11 install "SCOthman For Snap (iOS 11)" from the BigBoss repo (Don't use "SCOthman For Snap (iOS 10 - 11)", Upload button is broken)

    Make sure Liberty and NoSub are disabled for snapchat before asking why tweaks aren't working please 🙃🙃

    ...and I've been jailbroken since the day Electra dropped. I have 96 tweaks installed, and just re-jailbroke after only TWO tries. Been a member of the community since iOS 4 and godDAMN this is the best experience I have ever had with a jailbreak.

    [Tutorial] How to download music from Youtube and import to your music library (Stock music app)

    As I just spent an hour looking this up, but only finding outdated tutorials that no longer work, I thought I would post this tutorial very quickly.

    What you need: Youtube++ (The tweak is no longer being developed, you'll need the tweaked app from unmentionable sources.)

    And Mimport (Downloadable from julioverne.github.io on Cydia. It'll say only compatible with 10.x.x but it works on 11.)

    Step 1: Open up Youtube++ and find the song you want and select it, like you were going to watch it.

    Step 2: Click the Download button and click "Save with ++"

    Step 3: Select Audio and let it download

    Step 4: Select the 3 dots next to it and click share, then click more, and toggle on Import with Mimport, go back and select Import with Mimport.

    Step 5: Import it and make any necessary changes, such as Changing the title, artist or album name.

    Step 6: Click import on the top and voila, the song is now in the music library.

    [Upcoming] FullCCXI: customize your iOS 11 CC like you never done before!

    Apeiro is a WIP tweak that will let you fully customize your iOS 11 Control Center. What that means? I'll make a quick list of the features:

    • CCSupport-like feature, all developers of tweaks with CCSupport dependency will be invited to add FullCCXI as dependency.
    • Real disable/enable toggles feature, this means you'll be able to fully disable WiFi or Bluetooth, without the need to go in Settings.
    • Fullscreen CC, this means if you have a lot of modules enabled, you won't get that annoying blur bar on the top of the CC.
    • Customize your CC backround with custom wallpapers or custom colors.
    • Customize your CC modules colors.
    • Song artwork as Music module background.
    • Additional (optional) modules to add to your CC (Respring, Shutdown, Open a specific app etc.)

    The tweak will be available on Packix Repo at $1.49 as soon as I get rid of all the bugs.

    1.6.3 is really fast and supports JIT, mFi controllers and local multiplayer 2 player fl0w is neat, try it

    if you're stuck on a blue screen after install- reboot (to stock ios) and reinstall. if ppsspp crashes- you need to hard reboot

    [Discussion] [Request] Developers should be focusing on updating base packages for now (BTStack, Activator, Themes-related tweaks, and CommCenter Patch included but not limited to these)

    What I'm saying is that we should now priortize these base packages / tweaks before the development of other tweaks depending on these. This could save a lot of time and we could get an instant effect, since, once the base package is released, in quite a few circumstances, it doesn't take a lot effort to update packages depening on these (usually a week or two) . Please add to the list in your comments so developers who have time to update their tweaks would see it and start to consider updating them. Feel free to point out any mistakes and I'll correct those as soon as I see it. I'm not an expert on this so advice is always accepted. . |BTStack| Description: the depending package for most Bluetooth related tweaks. It allows you to connect to bluetooth devices that are not primarily designed for iOS, such as BT controllers, BT mouses and trackpads, BT external GPS devices, etc. Tweaks affected: Controllers for All, BTC Mouse & Trackpads, BTstack GPS, RoqyBT, etc. Compatibility: it's said to have supported iOS 11 on Github and I'll test once I get home. However, 1)the developer of Controllers for All does not approve it being supported, and so Controllers for All is left unsupported. 2)for BTC Mouse & Trackpads, it remains unsupported for both iOS 10 and 11 3)BTstack GPS is compiled as a 32-bit only app, but iOS 11 drops the compatibility of 32-bit only apps and thus it has to be recompiled to be a 64-bit one, which can be difficult to get it ported for developers. TL;DR BTstack itself has been updated to support iOS 11, but all of the three tweaks listed has not. We need to wait for the developers to update them. :( . |Activator| Description: a well-known gesture manager for iOS devices, probably the best. Activate almost everything within just one touch or swipe or pressing a button... nearly every physical changes that your device can respond to. Some tweaks require this package to be activated. (last update was beta on iOS 11.1.2, compatibility not confirmed on iOS 11.3.1, last check was a few days ago) Tweaks affected: BioProtect, and many more (I can't remember their names but I used those on iOS 8 and stopped using when I upgraded to iOS 11 due to lack of support) . |CommCenter Patch| Description: free your device from Apple's SIM lock or whatever unnecessary carrier-related restrictions. This has to work with other packages in order to take effect. Tweaks affected: countless tweaks, some are carrier-specific tweaks and this depends on what carrier you are trying to unlock from. . |Zeppelin| Description: change the carrier text to a logo. Very cool to use. Tweaks affected: almost every carrier text logo theme that's not relied on Anemone. . Hope this post can help those who are waiting for base packages to be released so that their tweaks can work.

    As the title says, i used u/theraspiguy s tweak, ControlCmds and use the say command to have siri recite the bee movie script (found here). I had to remove all breaks from the script using https://www.textfixer.com/tools/remove-line-breaks.php... and what happened may shock you

    It didnt work. It crashed springboard xD

    Siri singing Mr.Clean by young gravy, Had to do some quick edits cuz my friend didnt want his voice or face on reddirt

    What did work how ever, is having Siri recite Mr.Clean by young gray.

    Using ControlCmds to have siri recite the whole bee movie script.

    Alright so I've been trying to get Snapchat 10.22.2 to work on my iPhone 8 for a few hours now and this is what I've got so far. This tutorial is for you if you can't log in on an older Snapchat version, if you're having other problems while downgrading or if your downgraded Snapchat crashes on you after launching.

    How to downgrade and bypass the failing login:

    1. Be logged in on the most recent version of Snapchat
    2. Install Apps Manager 1.3.0 from BigBoss
    3. Open Apps Manager, find Snapchat in the list, click on it and then "Backup"
    4. Install App Admin from the repo "test.unlimapps.com"
    5. Open the App Store, search for Snapchat, go on it's page, click "Open" (no long press) -> "Downgrade" and install 10.22.2
    6. When the installation is finished, restart Apps Manager, find Snapchat in the list and "Restore"
    7. Launch Snapchat

    Now, for some people this might be it as Snapchat doesn't seem to crash for everyone. But if it does for you, keep on reading.

    How to stop Snapchat from crashing:

    Launch Snapchat and as soon as you can see your camera, immediately either tap once to focus or press and hold for 1-2 seconds to trigger the face search. I don't know why, but this will stop it from whatever it's doing that causes the app to crash.

    That's it. You can now use Snapchat 10.22.2 and everything should be working normally. This has been tested by me using this particular version on my iPhone 8 with and without Spectre installed. If you're using Snapchat related tweaks and it crashes after startup, kill it in the app switcher before relaunching it. Otherwise, the tweaks will not show up if you don't to this before relaunching.

    I hope that this is useful for some of you.

    [Discussion] I think I've finally got a working Pokemon Go Bypass guys

    Okay, so you guys might know me by now, but if not I just made a long write-up on some of the things I tried to get GO working again on the Electra JB a few days ago

    You can find that post and all its madness here

    The TL:DR of it is that I got something (Liberty Lite + Breakthrough) kind of working. I could play for 10-20 minute sessions and then it'd crash. After the crash I could just swipe the game away and reload it. You could play like this for about an hour and then the crashing would become more frequent until you were booted out for a long time. The fix was an icleaner clean + respring. But that stopped working for me too here and here. At the end of it, I was left with something that worked but not that well... So I started to mess around with some other things and I've finally found something that works!

    I haven't had a whole lot of time to test it yet, but I just played for about 30 minutes straight with no issues and I've been opening it up for 15 minutes throughout the last few days with zero crashes or bad interactions. So... I think this is going to work

    I encourage you all to test it out! The only thing is that a new update is on the horizon so I can't say how long this is actually going to work unfortunately... Anyways, I've rambled long enough!

    The tweaks you're looking for are Liberty Lite (0.2.10) + Breakthrough (8.22.3) + Jailprotect 0.0~beta4a. This is the exact setup I have right now. DO NOT use Nosubstitute with any of this

    Not sure if it matters, but the steps to enable this setup in the order I've done so is as follows:

    • 1) Download Liberty Lite, respring
    • 2) Disable GO in Liberty's settings, respring
    • 3) Install Breakthrough, respring
    • 4) Install JailProtect, respring
    • 5) Disable GO in Jail's settings, respring
    • 6) Run an iCleaner clean on Apps, respring

    There you go! Avoid using any other JB disabling tweaks and what not! Other than what I've posted I really can't offer much in the way of support but feel free to ask any questions!

    Seems like I do get crashes although they're not so frequent. Anywhere from 10-45 minutes I may crash or may not. Reloads fine even without swiping the app away. Can also swap between apps fine. Gym battles work usually. If not restart the app. Haven't tried raiding. Everything else is good
