Is it possible to listening music without constant interruptions from video ads? Posted: 21 Jul 2018 05:20 AM PDT I'm quite new to iOS, and while I really like Safari, I have an annoying problem. My music is almost always on, so while I'm browsing the web it is normal to me to listening my favorite tunes. Unfortunately the amount of intrusive auto playing video ads are keep kicking out my music. I need to go and bring forward my player then hit play again every time when one of these evil things pop up. Is there any way to stop this madness? I understand that is not really possible to get rid of all the ads, but these video ads are just too much. Thanks [link] [comments]

iOS 11.4.1 or iOS 12 Battery Life Posted: 20 Jul 2018 08:34 PM PDT For those of you who have been on both iOS 11.4.1 and the iOS 12 beta, what's been better for your battery life? I have an iPhone 6 and I'm not sure if I should upgrade to iOS 12 beta or stick with iOS 11.4.1 for the time being. [link] [comments]
iOS 11 features available only on big iPhone Plus 8? Posted: 21 Jul 2018 07:04 AM PDT I can find YouTube many videos with 100+ tips and tricks but they are same for 8/8 plus phones. I only want to find list of software features available only for iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11. [link] [comments]
Is not posible to know battery “usage” in iOS 12 as in iOS 11? Posted: 20 Jul 2018 01:08 PM PDT Are this two readings comparable? How can I read/know "usage" and "standby" time (since last full charge) with the new iOS 12 battery app? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Jul 2018 09:10 PM PDT Hey, currently on iOS12 beta 3 (I'm waiting until I'm back from holiday to update to 4) on a 6s and while my battery life was initially great after using iOS12, it seems to have slumped again. On 99% battery health and using every battery saving method/trick possible, it still drains pretty quick if I don't use power saving mode. Getting 3 hours general use at best. Don't know what to do :( Tempted to completely restore my phone but I feel like it won't do much for the long term. [link] [comments]
Why doesn’t the watch follow suit when I put a group chat on mute on the phone? Posted: 20 Jul 2018 09:09 AM PDT Just now I was included in a over active group message and I muted it but I keep getting them on my watch. Any way to stop it without playing the watch in do not disturb mode? [link] [comments]

Worth upgrading to iPhone X now? Posted: 21 Jul 2018 12:16 AM PDT My local Telco (Optus) are currently offering a banger plan for the iPhone X (100GB + 4GB international roaming) for $105AUD/month which is really good for Australia. I'm really on the fence getting it due to it being such a good deal but new iPhones are just around the corner. Coming from an iPhone 7, is it worth it the upgrade now or better off waiting while paying a higher plan? How has the iPhone X aged for those who have had it for a while? [link] [comments]

Apple removed the ability to take Live Photos in FaceTime call with IOS 12 Posted: 20 Jul 2018 09:41 PM PDT I found this weird. A feature that was added to iOS 11, was removed in the beta for iOS 12. My assumption is that it's going to be added back or it wasn't as popular of a feature. I for one, use it when FaceTiming people. I felt that it was an easy way to capture something, with the best part being that the other person can see you took a photo. [link] [comments]
If I use ApplePay to buy something ... Posted: 20 Jul 2018 10:37 AM PDT via the Panera app for example, for a soda vending machine, should ApplePay be running down what I have available in ApplePay Cash before charging my credit card? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

iOS beta update general question Posted: 20 Jul 2018 02:58 PM PDT Had a quick question for anyone in the know about these things. As I understand it, the final beta release iOS version is the same as the actual final public release. What's the consensus on wiping the iPhone and restoring from the final release so as to have a cleaner install and, hopefully, better performance? Just thinking ahead a bit. Is there any point to doing so, I.e., are there any beta software remnants after each update from previous versions? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
