    Low Power Mode Battery Stats

    Has anyone on the iOS 12 beta done a test of how long your phone lasts using low power mode vs not using it? I'm curious about using it from 100%, and from 20% to have an idea of how long other people's phones last. Since iOS 12 has improved battery stats, I'd figure it's easier to get this info.

    Phone screen is black and still makes sounds

    While I was at the gym I dropped a weight on my phone and there are no visible cracks or dents but my screen is black. I've tried doing the volume reset and restoring it but none has worked so far. Any suggestions?

    Do your adjusted key frame live photos look like dog shit?

    I am noticing a massive difference in image quality between the default live photo and any of the other key frames that are available to choose. In fact, if I choose a new key frame, and then decide I'd like to switch back to the default, it still looks like garbage. Is this normal?

    Face ID when iPhone X is on a desk or flat surface

    Face ID seems to have trouble unlocking when my phone is on my desk. I've tried the suggested workaround by angling it when capturing my face. Doesn't Face ID have deep learning built in? How long does it take for it to improve?

    Which should I expect to get back a new or refurbished phone?

    I had to send my phone in to get fixed and Apple is replacing it. Do they send out refurbished X's or new ones? This is the second time I've sent it to them and the first time they said they couldn't reproduce my issue.

    Worth it at this point in time?

    So I've got a P2XL and have lost the lottery on screens. The blue tint hurts my eyes etc. I'm confident that I want to return to iOS.

    I'm considering picking up an iPhone X and ditching the 2XL

    I'm currently travelling across North America to see family and noticed that the price of an X here with tax included is 160£ (210$) cheaper (I live in London). I've considered variables such as warranty, but lived in Toronto before London and everything I have from there was easily repaired in the UK.

    I'm not sure whether it's worth waiting til September and buying the X2 or whatever comes out, which will likely be around £999-£1300 (1300-1700$) for the potential X plus, or go all in now with this opportunity and get an X for around 800.
