Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:09 PM PDT All new for $600. I either have the choice of sticking with this setup, or selling it and waiting for the next release of the iPad. I'm just released of the price hike, as well as how smoothly the first generation of these new iPads will run with face ID. My usage would be companionship with my Macbook Air or using it by itself on those days I don't need much horsepower, as well as using it as a media consumption device. [link] [comments]
Apple Pencil Connection Issues Posted: 29 Jun 2018 04:48 AM PDT Just got an Apple Pencil and 1st gen iPad Pro, well used, tried pairing them and it just won't do it - the pairing pop up doesn't last, it'll go away by itself indicating a bad bt connection? In Bluetooth settings it will say the Pencil is connected for a second and then drop down into other devices. I've tried charging the Pencil for an extended period, resetting iPad, I've set it up as a new. What's interesting is the first time I tried to pair it had the (i) in bt settings and I was able to forget device, so an indication of previous successful connection? (Got this used) What's also interesting is that when Pencil is plugged into iPad and I go to the about section in settings and scroll down - it shows one Apple Pencil and then two Apple Pencils and then one, it can't make up its mind whether there's one or two pencils trying to connect. I may try pairing it with display iPads at a store, see how that goes - from what I can gather this seems to be a bit of an issue with pencils and iOS 11, I'm running 11.4 [link] [comments]
Can bad electric wiring cause these specific problems on an iPad Pro Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:30 AM PDT I mean the home's wiring. Touch became unresponsive occasionally and small white spots appeared along one edge of the iPad. It was under warranty and I now got it replaced. Can these problems come from bad electrical wiring/power surges and the sorts? I have used my home's power sockets which I have used with all kinds of devices for decades. No computer ever became defective or anything. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Jun 2018 09:08 PM PDT Hello, I am a student and would like to purchase an iPad Pro 10.5 for schoolwork. However, I am stuck on whether to buy now or wait until September. Here is my situation:
Sorry I know there are many of these types of posts but I would like to get advice based on my situation. [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jun 2018 10:44 AM PDT I have an original iPad Air that I mostly use indoors in dim lighting conditions, sometimes even in complete darkness. The screen can get pretty dark, but it's still sometimes too bright for my preferences. I've tried the accessibility settings (reduce white point, zoom filter, color filters) that can reduce brightness even more, but those only help so much. I've heard good things about tablets with OLED screens, but the single one I've tried in person (Samsung Galaxy Tab S3) was disappointing, with a lot of color shift at different viewing angles. I'd also prefer to stay with iOS if possible. [link] [comments]
Any cheap semi-decent iPad Gen 6 case recommendations (UK)? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 01:17 AM PDT Hey, I just bought an iPad Gen 6 (2018), it's mostly for development, 99% of the time it'll be sat on my desk so I don't want to pay too much for a case but at the same time I'd like to avoid getting the back/screen completely scratched up on the times I do carry it around. I was looking at the Spigen folding case (https://www.spigen.com/collections/ipad/products/ipad-9-7-case-smart-fold?variant=37261423809) which is only £10 here. Does anyone have any better recommendations? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Best Screen protector for Writing on the iPad right now? Posted: 28 Jun 2018 03:58 PM PDT I recognize this has probably been asked. But what is the best screen protector on the market for the iPad that mimics the feel of writing on paper? Paperlike gets the most exposure, it is the one that gets featured most on YouTube reviews I've seen. And it is one that almost always seems to come up in these discussions, but from what I have read and seen, its actual quality and writing experience offered does not differ significantly from your run-of-the-mill matte screen protector off Amazon. Elecom is another brand I've come across but don't know too much about, although knowing that it is Japanese-made it is probably well-made and of high quality. I am willing to spend more to get the best writing experience possible from my iPad Pro and get the most out of the Pencil, as I plan to do a lot of note taking with it. I did experiment with a matte protector by iCarez which has been reviewed and recommended by a few digital artists on YouTube, but I wasn't particularly impressed by it. Maybe there are better ones out there? I would think there ought to be some great ones being made to take advantage of the iPad's capabilities.... yeah. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 01:11 AM PDT Hi everyone! I was wondering, what is the best way to transfer PDF's to an IPAD 3? This ipad does not have airdrop and itunes 12 removed the Books feature to transfer manually. I used to transfer files using a bluetooth app called Shareit when I had a PC, but I have a hard time using it now because I switched to Mac. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Jun 2018 08:36 PM PDT So I did a small search but there are no answers for this particular device (9.7 inch iPad 2018). Is it safe to charge my 2018 iPad overnight? Thanks! [link] [comments]
iPad Pro 10.5 Skin without Apple Logo? Posted: 28 Jun 2018 05:55 PM PDT I'm really liking the Black Dragon skin from dBrand, but unlike some of their other apple skins, this one isn't available without the Apple Logo cut out. I checked Slickwraps, and it looks like all of their options have the logo as well. Are there any textured, precision cut skins for the iPad Pro 10.5 that have the option to leave out the logo? I've had a tough time finding meaningful results when searching "iPad Skin Without Logo" or other variations, so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks! [link] [comments]
