Don't get me wrong, if I'm going to be out the out the house for a while I'll put a case on it. But most of the time I don't. I do have a screen protector on it also. Risk taker. Love the iPhone X. | Posted: 29 Jun 2018 01:19 PM PDT I received a free iPhone X from a friend who works for Apple (he got it for free as well), when I try to set it up with my Apple ID, I get a message saying "Unauthorized". I initially thought that the iPhone must be synced to his account but he says that it isn't and not sure why I can't restore from my iTunes Backup or Set up as a new IPhone. Any thoughts? I expected that I would need time to adjust, but I didn't expect the adjustments to be so lackluster. Now, to be fair, I'm not here to bash the iPhone X. I just wanted to hear from others who are more familiar with the OS, the device, and it's features. Maybe I'm just not seeing the value in the iPhone X because it's not necessarily tangible? All I know is that after having an opportunity to test drive the S9+ for 2 weeks, and owning this iPhone X for about a week it seems like Samsung has a lot more to offer at a lower price point. I have turned off sound notifications for text and imessage, and it seems to function fine when my phone is unlocked, screen is on. However, when my phone is locked, screen is black, any text message i get will give me a notification with sound. Seems to also be doing this with Facebook Messenger, and sometimes when I'm sending messages on FB messenger, there are keyboard clicks and "whoosh" sound when sending. Restarting occasionally fixes this. Just started noticing this today. Suggestions?? [link] [comments]  | ||
