    I might have missed it here on this sub and from the keynote, but was surprised to see messages grabbing my 2 factor key from messages and automatically asking me if I wanted to use it for sign in! Will heavily use that feature!

    I'm seeing an influx of these posts from people asking how to downgrade.

    There should just be a guide posted somewhere on what you can do, instead of having daily posts from people (who should have never downloaded a BETA on their daily driver in the first place)?

    I mean to a point it gets kind of annoying, I get people mess up and need to downgrade but if they can't use the really easy search function, let's make a sticky post or a sidebar guide of what to do if you fuck up.

    [BUG] Siri no longer able to send messages using name if there is a nickname

    On iOS 11, I was able to add a nickname and prefer nicknames so that it would show up in the conversation thread. This also allowed me to tell Siri to send a message using their name instead of their nickname.

    Unfortunately this no longer works as Siri says "Messages didn't find the contact for _____", and it has the associated emoji for that contact, meaning it has the contact.

    [Bugs] App Store behaving kinda weirdly, and showing different update categories/fonts?

    Just opened my app store to update some of my apps and found that the apps categorised under "recently updated" needed to be updated again, and that the capitalisation for the update button had changed too. Is this an iOS 12 bug or something that occurred in iOS 11 as well?

    [Bugs] Carplay crash on reverse camera

    title says it all, in Beta 2 only (beta 1 unaffected as well as previous versions) when reverse camera activates in car carplay crashes interrupting music and has to relaunch, it will not relaunch while backup camera is active. Note AppRadio 4 is the carplay headunit.

    [Question] iOS and HomeKit

    What are some of the bugs that people are experiencing with iOS 12 and HomeKit. Specifically, I have Hue lights and whenever I update to a new iOS there has been connection problems where lights go unresponsive. Also have an Ecobee for reference.

    [Question] Performance of Nike+ Run Club on iOS 12

    Has anyone tried the Nike+ Run Club app on iOS 12? I would love to hop on the beta train like I have since iOS 8 but was curious if anyone had experience with NRC's performance on iOS 12. Thanks in advance!

    [BUG] Dev Beta 2, iPhone X sending all calls straight to voicemail.

    Checked every one of my settings, and no dice. I have Hiya installed if that may be the issue, but no indication that it is.. I'm also on Verizon, though I doubt that's the issue.

    [Bugs] Can't install WatchOS 5 on public beta?

    Need some advice on what to do here:

    • Phone is on most recent iOS public beta
    • Installed the profile for the Beta to the watch
    • Reset the watch
    • Software update says my phone is on most recent 4.3.1 OS
    • Profile definitely there for the beta in the Watch app...
    • Removed profile. Reset my phone
    • Redid the entire process
    • No luck, still says most recent firmware is 4.3.1

    What am I not doing right here?

    [BUG] iOS12 Beta 2, all non-apples crash

    This afternoon I have found on my iPad that all non-apple apps are crashing.

    Apollo, Facebook, 9gag, and so on.

    Yet all Apple ones like Calculator, Contacts, Phone dopey without issue.

    The other apps open, then go black and then back to the home screen.

    Anyone else seen this.

    [BUG] iOS 12 beta bugs

    Some of the problems that I'm having are that most times my notifications won't group. I will get 3 texts in a row from someone but they show up as individual messages on my lock screen

    Also my phone does not vibrate or turn the screen on when I'm wearing my iWatch. It only vibrates on my watch but my phone does nothing

    Anyone else have these issues?

    [BUG] Battery percentage didn't decrease caused the phone to work with empty battery

    I unplugged my phone at %35 and percentage decrease to %32 in a few minutes but after %32, it didn't decrease more. So at the and like 1 hours later my phone began to slow down, and in a few minutes the phone was very slow. then i turned off the phone and try to re-open but phone show battery is empty error. So my guess (maybe it's obviously) my phone charge was empty and continued to work with empty battery using empty battery backup(*idk how its callin).

    I think the bug is very dangerous, it may cause to battery drain completely. So be careful and peace out ✌️
