    This month we are looking for banners with a summer theme! While a theme is not required for your submission to be counted, it's your chance to help the community get into the spirit of the season!

     

    Hey jailbreakers!

    Welcome to the banner contest for June! Every (other) month, /r/jailbreak invites members of the community to create and submit banners for a chance to be featured as the official subreddit banner!

    Do YOU want your design to be featured as the next /r/jailbreak banner? Well now's the time to submit your creations!

     

    Requirements

    • Submissions must be sent via PM to /u/jailbreakmods.
      Submissions left as a comment in this post, sent via PM to any other mod, or sent to modmail will be ignored.

    • Submission PMs must include the words "Banner Submission" in the title.

    • Image cannot be greater than 500 KB in size.

    • 3 Versions must be submitted:

      • Non-retina displays: 2000x200px
      • Retina displays: 4000x400px
      • Mobile devices: 640x194px min, 1280x384px max, 10:3 ratio

    • Banners must be submitted as one Imgur album.

    • The content of the banner must be centered and clearly display the name of the subreddit.

     

    What do I win if my banner is selected?

    The author of the banner that wins the contest receives a personalized "Banner Creator" flair, banner credit in the sidebar, and one month of reddit gold!

     

     

    Submissions will be open until June 13th, soon after which they will be closed and users will be allowed to vote on their favorite one!

    When the jailbreak for iOS 11.3.1 releases, I am planning to create the shortcuts feature from iOS 12 on older versions if enough people are interested. So I would like to know if this feature is something that is wanted.

    I'm a average jailbreak user and when Ian released his work it might as well have been written in Chinese. Didn't really know if it was good or bad. All I know is a lot of the community was acting like it was bad. I know Coolstar was saying it's going to take some work. Just a question I have. I know 2 things were dropped by Ian. One needs a Dev account one doesn't. Is the one that needs work really a tough fix for our current Dev/Jailbreak creators? Is it something that they might not get ironed out or is it just a matter of time before they get things working like planned. I know before the release people were saying once released it was just basically just changing a few things around with Ian's work and bingo, were golden. Has that gone out the window. Are we back to the drawing board or are is there nothing to worry about. Ive never been one to hound and bug developers about there work. When it comes it comes. Just wondering if we think they'll get it done?

    [Tutorial] How to Compile Houdini Beta 3 with a Developer Account

    DISCLAIMER: Houdini currently does not provide as many features as it did and is unstable. Please don't buy a paid developer account only for it

    **Disable Siri on your Device before starting **

    1. Download X-Code on the latest firmware and make sure you have a paid developer account
    2. Download Houdini Beta 3 which can be found Here
    3. Open the file houdini.xcodeproj in Xcode
    4. Change the Developer Team to Your Account and create your own Bundle Identifier
    5. Connect your Device
    6. Hit the Top Left Button to Run the Programm
    7. Houdini much glitch and restart a bit, but after some tries if everything went right it should work fine

    [Discussion] Installing Houdini, Currently is not worth it.

    So, Houdini currently in Beta 3 only allows you to customize light features such as notification badge color etc. The exploit and general code is unstable and in my opinion, it's not worth it to risk the chance of getting stuck in a boot loop and loosing IOS 11.3.1.

    As the IOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak is extremely close, I would wait for it and maybe if I'm that time period, a more stable Houdini beta is released with a dev certificate runaround I would probably install it.
