    [REQUEST] Submit feedback to fix the home-button delay in non-X devices, iOS 12 is about fluidity improvements and this should be fixed.

    Hey guys, ever since iOS 11 non-X devices had this delay after pressing the home button to exit an app, this is because the system waits to detect whether it's a single or a double press, this obviously not a problem in the X. but when Apple changed system animations to fit the X new gestures navigation they didn't take into account the home-button delay in older devices.

    In older iOS versions they handled this by starting the exiting animation and if a second press is detected the animation will switch to the application switcher in a very smooth way.

    Since iOS 12 is all about fluidty Apple should fix this annoying home button delay that makes the phone feels a little less responsive. Please send feedback to Apple maybe they may fix this. Feedback or via Feedback App.

    [Question] Is the iOS 12 PB stable enough for use on my daily driver?

    Previously, I tried a lot of PB's since iOS 7 on my daily driver iPhone and initial Betas were unstable. But now, I'm hearing that the initial iOS 12 PB is really stable compared to previous versions, which could probably be due to the fact that 12 focuses on performance. I don't rely on the GPS/maps that much, and I'm on an X btw. Can I use the PB?

    Sometimes its really bad flickering, but goes away as soon as you enter an app or invoke CC.

    I've reported it now that I have solid video proof but just wanted to show you guys that it does happen 🎉

    [Bugs] iMessage doesn't connect with my phone number or Apple ID at all.

    I am only getting "waiting for activation..." forever.

    When I try to use my Apple ID (sign in to it), I only see a spinning indicator and no progress is made.

    Turning off iMessage and restarting my phone does not work.

    I have reported the issue but if anyone has found a fix I'd be delighted to hear it.

    [BUG] SMS issues

    Curious is anyone else is running into an issue with SMS messaging? I have to reboot frequently to clear this up. Started on Beta 2. I will get an SMS. It will show up as a new one again every couple minutes until I reboot. It will look like the person sent me the same message several times. On their end it shows as a single message. I also cannot get a reply to go through until I reboot.

    Just haven't seen it mentioned yet. Curious if anyone else is seeing it and if you figured out a fix. I submitted to feedback already.

    [QUESTION] Does turning the screen on and not unlocking count as a “pickup” in screentime

    I noticed my pickups were unreasonably high during a stretch of time that I was at the gym. I maybe unlocked my phone twice to change playlists but any other time I was just checking the time without unlocking. I registered 25 pickups during that hour.

    Am I just misunderstanding what is classified as a pickup?

    [Question] FaceTime lower part blocked by a panel, any way to hide it ?

    When making a FaceTime call on iOS12, there's now a dark panel with 3 buttons that hides the lower half of screen and covers up the lower part of the other person's face, and I can't find a way to hide it. Does anyone have a solution, or is it a known issue ? I've submitted feedback to Apple.
