I do occassional drawing too. So I have 2 questions

I shoot a lot of 35mm film and the lab I use provide the negatives as hi-res scans on a CD. Save for using my girlfriend's MacBook to get the images off the disc, then using airdrop to send them across to my iPad Pro, is there any easier way of getting them onto the iPad? I'm wondering how long it would last for in good performance, as my only iDevice was a 4th gen iPod Touch and I used it til it crapped itself basically. If I were to buy a 2015 12.9, would it still run smoothly maybe 5 years down the line? It has the A9X which is older than the A10 or whatever, but 4GB RAM, so smoother in performance. Because I'm not sure whether to get that, or a standard 2018 iPad. Bearing in mind it'll be a general multimedia device and not for specific usage. I don't have all the money to spend, so if I get the normal 2018, I'll get a new one, but if the pro, I'd get a used. It doesn't bother me either way. Everything was slow and laggy. Animation were slow and unreponsive. However with 12, animations are fast and apps open smoothly. I am so happy because i hated ios 11 which imo crippled the 9.7 pro. Touch ID loses recognition of my 4th fingerprint.(pinkey) I have re-registered that fingerprint and touch id recognizes it at first, but in a matter of hours, it loses memory of that fingerprint, requiring a reprogram. Then I tried removing one of my unused finger print from touch id, but kept the pinkey fingerprint saved, with now 3 fingerprints registered and it no longer loses memory of my pinkey fingerprint. So I went ahead and installed iOS 12 public beta today and I was stuck and surprised. I am going to stay on this built and not going back to 11.4 which I had to if 12 sucked. App opening time / animation speeds / keyboard pop up speed/ safari all seems to be bit faster as such it should not be as it's already a beast device, but still I feel speed on 12 compared to 11.1.2 If anyone out there waiting for an review then according to me they won't regret after upgrade.
