    Is there anyone facing this problem? When trying to update an app, it just stuck there. The network has no problem. My system version is 11.4, although the same problem appears back to 11.3.X.

    I am wondering about if this is possible since I need to have some distance when using portrait mode but that comes at a cost of lower resolution (Because of the range).

    I receive a lot of emails everyday... so far they add up more than 5.2 GB in my device.

    How can I tell the Apple mail app to keep the emails in their own server, just download them if I attempt to open one.

    Hello, Dear fellow Reddit users!

    I used to do fansub translatig in the past for my native language and i still like to translate song lyrics as a hobby and want to share them on my personal pages but i dont have a computer so i need to do this my iphone, that is why i need an app similar to subtitle workshop. I found a few app for adding subtitle to videos but their duration control isn't that good and they dont let me to control miliseconds, only seconds but i want to have control over miliseconds to prevent overlapping lines.

    Looking for a warehousing-style app that reads QR codes

    My use case is that I have too much shit in identical boxes in my garage. I'd like to print a QR code for each box, then do an inventory of what's in each box.

    Then I'd like to be able to scan the QR code and have the app tell me what's in the box, or search the app for what I want and have it tell me what box it's in.

    This will save me countless hours searching in the same places and over and over for things I know I've seen.

    Does anyone know if anything like this exists for iOS?

    Edit: I found a few things but they all either require an outright purchase of a desktop app for $80 or $12 a month in subs, so free or cheap and one-off would also be welcome.

    I have just installed VLC on my iPad and when I held down on the app icon (to move the app to another screen), the equivalent of 3D Touch kicked in, and bought up options. I've tried it on 2 iPads and it works on both. I can't find any other apps where this works - bug, or new feature? 3D Touch on VLC

    This post has come about because of the bug that I've been shouting about (with no one listening) which is that when you quick reply in iOS, the text does not wrap in the compose box. Instead it just keeps going in a single line with the previous text disappearing from the screen. Link to demonstrate the problem at the bottom.

    Now I remember that beginning with iOS 10, Apple introduced rich notifications. An example of a rich notification is quick replying to messages.app notification. Up till iOS 9, you could only see one message and reply to that message. Beginning iOS 10, you get a mini preview of the messages app, where it updates your conversation bubbles in real time. Essentially the rich notification allows the app to display dynamic content with the notification, and allow users to take action right there and then without having to open the app, like displaying an image or a GIF, or showing a conversation view of a chat app (like messages.app).

    At the time there were discussions of how Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram etc would be taking advantage of this functionality but they never did, and I'm just widening, why not? Apple's got extensive documentation of this functionality on their developers website, and beginning with iOS 12 they've added even more functionality to it (you can display switches and buttons too now).

    Any ideas?

    Does iOS 12 have a Safari share sheet item for “Use as Wallpaper”?

    When you open an image in Safari, it shows a share sheet option to use as watchface, but still does not include an option to use the image as wallpaper on the device that it's open on without saving to Photos.

    Does iOS 12, by any chance, finally support setting wallpapers straight from Safari?

    iPhone 6s PLUS - Camera Shaking Problem

    Hi everyone!

    My camera was working fine in the morning (at least within Instagram and Snapchat camera app) then I decided to out of the blue to upgrade my iOS from 10.3 to 11.4 (without doing any research or backing it up) as I updated the software through the phone itself instead of normally plugging into iTunes and backup my files. I had deleted my previous backup files as my MacBook Air has low memory space.

    But the moment after I finished updating to iOS 11.4, my camera app keeps shaking constantly. It also has that hardware sound where it sounds like it is flickering between two camera lenses. The picture comes out very blurry and shaky as you see it in the phone screen itself. But a weird thing about this is that when I use the Camera App and change it to slow-motion or time-lapse mode, the camera is fine and works normal. But with the other options, it's all blurry and shaky and noisy while taking the photos/regular videos. It also blurry and shaky when I try to use third party apps like Instagram and Snapchat....

    Is there a fix for this? I know there isn't an option downgrade to an older iOS anymore... (Is this how Apple forces its' old phone generation users to upgrade to a newer iPhone models....?)

    How do I block a number on my phone so that when they call me I don't get that full screen prompt to dismiss or send an automatic reply? I'm still on iOS 10.3.3 because of the battery issues on iPhone 6s with 11

    It's a pretty annoying feature I can't figure out how to turn off.

    I want block numbers to be fully blocked and ignored, I don't need to know when they're trying to call.
