| Can’t pull down the control center Posted: 26 May 2018 03:10 PM PDT I can't pull the control center down from the side of the notch it usually pulls it down just a tiny bit then resets or it will bring up the app searcher then I can't press the cancel button next to the search bar. It's like that little part of the screen has no touch sensitivity but it still works on some apps. I've restarted my phone multiple times for hours at a time and it doesn't fix it. Now I know the Taptic engine in the 7/7 Plus is upgraded from it's introduction in the 6S/6S Plus. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Taptic engine in any devices succeeding the 7/7 Plus have been updated since? Like if the X's engine is a different engine than the 7/7Plus. Thanks! | Posted: 25 May 2018 08:43 PM PDT Hey, I'm sure this has been asked so many times (can't find it on the forum though), but do you guys think Applecare plus Insurance is worth it for the x? Have you guys ever had to use it? I feel like $200 is kind of a lot for something you may never end up using and for no lost/stolen insurance. With my iphone 6 I only had one damage in 6 years that needed service I'll have a decent, but minimalist case on my phone if it matters. [link] [comments]  |
| Anyone else having audio issues? Posted: 26 May 2018 05:23 AM PDT Had my X for around 6 months now. It's been a constant issue the whole time. Muting all audio but it still plays sound. It's very weak but you can hear it if it's quiet, e,g, at night. Doesn't always happen, but seems to occur frequently if I have used earpods earlier in the day. The volume is like a mix between the lowest volume setting and mute. I've checked that both videos and phone sound is on mute. [link] [comments]  |
| Phone and screen scratches really easy!!! Can cat Claws do it? Posted: 26 May 2018 01:32 AM PDT So I'm coming from an s8+. After a year that screen had like 1 minimal.scratch because gorilla glass. Got my iPhone last month. First day I got scratches on my frame. I said OK I have to buy a case but I was really amazed. I mean it scratched after a day. And we all know how you handle your phone in the first day. Especially one like this one so OK I bought a case. After that I noticed a big scratch near the top. I was really stunned because I take care of my gadgets. And this was after a few days. Now I have more scratches. The only way I could explain this is that I saw my cat sometimes stay with his paws on It. Claws are retracted but maybe he had something on his paws? Idk. He was doing the same on s8. I'm really disappointed with the hardware of the phone. Frame scratched and screen scratched in the first days. Box Headphones are cheap and no fast charger brick. Besides that I ducking love it but when you pay this much money I don't understand why you have to suffer like this. BTW I don't like screen protectors. I'm a little ocd about that so that's why I didn't get one untill now. But I guess I will have to because at this rate, in 1 year my screen will be covered in scratches [link] [comments]  |
