[feature] initiating an iCloud backup forces Messages in the cloud to sync Posted: 07 May 2018 10:53 AM PDT I noticed my messages would take about one day before they would sync over to my backup phone (which only receives the messages via iCloud sync as iMessage is stuck in activation purgatory with no SIM card) and noticed that if I manually press iCloud backup now on both devices all the latest messages would show up immediately. The more you know! [link] [comments]
[Discussion] It’s Beta Season next month Boi’s :D Posted: 06 May 2018 12:39 PM PDT This subreddit will be awakened again! Let's get ready for more battery posts for the first few betas hahaha XD No but for real; I'm excited for iOS 12 more than I was for 11. With the hint that it is performance based, I'm gonna feel happy to use the software. I feel like the iOS's before iOS 10 had some performance improvements addressed, especially with iOS 9 and 10. However last years iOS 11 did not mention any performance improvements, rather it presented us with small improvements to UI, features, continuity and improvements to Siri. I think that the step to take iOS 12 to be like a iOS '11.5' thing is a good idea. Although iOS 11.3 and 11.4 were a massive improvement to the last 11.X and I really like it. But I still believe there's more small bugs and glitches that are not usual in a iOS release. That are also not fully addressed. Don't get me wrong tho, every iOS has bugs and glitches at launch, but it just felt there were more than usual this time and lasted for longer than usual. (Still hate my home button lag - yes, I know. It's intentional but still) Anyway, good luck to all of you beta testers! :D see you early June. [link] [comments]

[BUG] Persistent banner notifications that won't dismiss until manually dismissed Posted: 07 May 2018 01:25 AM PDT occasionally when I receive a notification when the screen is unlocked, the banner notification does not dismiss itself until I manually dismiss it. kind of annoying... anyone else experiencing the same thing? iOS 11.4 beta 3 on iPhone X here [link] [comments]
[Question] is anyone else not to happy with Apple due to the slow updates? Posted: 07 May 2018 11:28 AM PDT Beta 3 came out last week and nothing today. It seems as if iOS is becoming android. Apples going downhill, they can't even update their os on time. Apple should be able to do better!! [link] [comments] |
