Does anyone know how I can transfer/backup all my files from my Samsung S9 to my Macbook Air? Posted: 30 May 2018 11:32 PM PDT Tried just using the USB cable but nothing happened. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 May 2018 11:30 PM PDT Out of nowhere vertical lines appeared on the screen. Fidgeting with the screen fixes it sometimes but it comes back. 2015 13" MacBook. Screen also got hot at one spot too [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 May 2018 09:52 PM PDT I was using MBA Mid2013 for 5 years. 6 months ago, all of a sudden, it stopped working. They said it was a mainboard issue. Since cost of repair was more than half of the price of a new MBA, I got a new MBA. Last week, the same thing happened to my new MBA. It was under warranty so Apple Store replaced the mainboard but I wonder why this keeps happening to my laptops. What causes to mainboard issues? Ps. There were no liquid damage for both times. One day the laptop works perfectly fine, the other day it refuses to open. [link] [comments]
Choppy Safari Scrolling On Some Websites Posted: 30 May 2018 03:38 PM PDT Can someone with a MacBook or MacBook Pro navigate to for example ... and scroll casually down through the articles... does it stutter when scrolling? Ive tried it on MacBook 12 (2017) and MacBook Pro (2017) and both stutter noticeably when scrolling. However, if you scroll in a different browser, Firefox, Opera etc, running on the same MacBooks, its buttery smooth! This "stuttering" doesn't happen on all websites, just a small handful, however its driving me crazy not knowing if its just me seeing this in safari :-P [link] [comments]
Help: water behind macbook screen Posted: 30 May 2018 09:35 AM PDT hey, Unfortunately I recently had some water get into my Macbook. It wasn't a direct spill but I had just left an unscrewed water flask in my bag and my computer absorbed some of it. I've posted a photo of the screen. Fortunately after 48 hours of drying it out it was able to turn back on and it seems to be working fine. The only issue is as you can see there appears to be some damage or water trapped behind the screen. SCREEN: https://imgur.com/UMz9Xti Is there any solution to this? Is this actual water or some sort of damage. Should I not use my computer until I can get it fixed? Hope to hear back. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Generic icons starting popping up Posted: 30 May 2018 05:47 AM PDT I've started getting these for my apps. Some will look like this in launchpad and others will look like this in the dock. I've rebooted many times and they always stay like this. The only solution I've found is to uninstall the app and reinstall, but that's a pain. Anyone know what causes this? [link] [comments]
2011 Macbook air keyboard weirdness Posted: 30 May 2018 05:23 AM PDT After it re-starts, my 13" air's keyboard sometimes doesnt work properly - keys qwertyuio don't work. P is fine. I figured out that by pressing all the non-working keys together for about 3 seconds fixes the problem and the keyboard works perfectly, but it's annoying having to do it (almost) every time! I tried resetting the pram and blowing compressed air about and neither has fixed it - any other suggestions? (it works perfectly apart from that) [link] [comments] |
