Safari won't let me search using return key? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:06 PM PDT So recently I've been having this weird issue with safari where, if I type something into the search bar and press the return key to search it won't search for the page or address I'm looking for. It's probably not an issue with my return key itself, as it works in other places, and using it for a google search from the google homepage seems to work fine too... It may sound like a small issue, but it's actually become incredibly frustrating. I know I could just use another browser, but I actually kinda prefer safari and would like to try to find a solution to this issue if at all possible. Any help would be much appreciated! EDIT: I just realized it also isn't acting as an address bar in the sense that even if I try to enter an address and go to it without the return button, it won't come up with website suggestions or go to that website when I type out the url and click on it... Audio Quality of Sped up Videos Suffers on Safari Posted: 14 Apr 2018 12:47 AM PDT Does anyone else suffer from this? I'm making the change from Chrome to Safari because I noticed how much smoother everything was. I like watching videos on 2x speed most of the time and I noticed it sounded really weird on safari whereas chrome retained good audio quality. Is there a way to fix this? [link] [comments]
I have email overload so badly, I cannot even get through it. Please help with suggestions? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 11:38 PM PDT Any suggestions to cut down on how emails are organized? Or how I can browse through emails faster? Apple Mail just isn't cutting it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 01:45 PM PDT I have been formatting my HDD to install windows and now I have free space that cannot be resized. I am using MacOS High Sierra. My drive is 1TB. I have tried using disklist in terminal but it doesn't show my free space. https://imgur.com/a/28Q4c [link] [comments]
HighSierraMediaKeyEnabler broken? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 11:57 AM PDT HighSierraMediaKeyEnabler used to let me use my media keys to control iTunes. For some reason, it no longer does that. I have updated High Sierra, which might have broken it. Does anyone know of a fix? [link] [comments]
Anyway to disable iBridge from system? MacBook Pro 2017 with TouchBar. Posted: 13 Apr 2018 07:27 AM PDT So my Macbook has been having constant kernel panics since day 1. Sometimes its random when it crashes, but if the Mac is put to sleep (along with the harddisks) it would 100% crash and turn onto the screen of death. Going through the panic reports, I've found out that the TouchBar is what's causing the issue. Thing is my TouchBar went blank a few weeks back and I can't take this to Apple at this time, so I was wondering if there's a way to disconnect/disable iBridge from the system altogether so I can at least use it without it constantly crashing. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Change from APFS case insensitive to APFS case sensitive Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:51 AM PDT Is it possible to change without reformatting your hard drive/SSD. How can I arrange it, without loss of data. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
