Ever since I upgraded to the latest ver. of iTunes, I've been having bugs (i.e can't delete songs from library). The most troubling of these, however, is that the sync seems to get stuck with reading my photo library. Is there any fix to this other downgrading to a prior ver. of iTunes? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 11 Apr 2018 07:56 PM PDT Hey guys! So I've run into a problem with my girlfriends iPhone SE. It randomly loses service at times and it says searching a lot. If I turn it off and leave it off for a few days and keep restarting it the service comes back but if it gets turned back off or if I turn airplane mode on it loses service completely and goes back to saying searching. Posted: 11 Apr 2018 03:44 PM PDT First off: Yes, alerts are set to show, yes, notifications are turned on, and no, do not disturb is not on. Ok, so, I muted the chat (hide alerts) because I was getting spammed by messages that didn't pertain to me, as you do. Problem is, after I re-enabled alerts, it... well, it didn't work. This morning my lawyer messaged me asking for every message my spouse and I shared for the last 3 months. When I went to look in the text string there was only one message and everything else was missing. I had things that would implicate them and help my case. | Unlocked domestically but locked internationally? Posted: 11 Apr 2018 12:43 PM PDT I bought my boyfriend's iphone 5s on eBay and it claimed it was unlocked. It works fine with his Mint sim card, I've tried it with my t-mobile card and that works as well. However, the last time we went abroad we couldn't use a sim card that we were planning to buy because the phone said it was network locked. We just used my phone and it was fine. I just got a new iphone 6s recently from a friend who didn't know if it was locked or not but she was on Verizon and I'm on T-Mobile and the phone was fine with my sim. My BF and I going to Mexico tomorrow. I really don't want to bring my old phone with me just in case my new phone doesn't work with an international sim either. | Help retrieve data from iPhone 7 with damaged screen? Posted: 11 Apr 2018 11:32 AM PDT Laides & gents, I am in need of help. Today I dropped my iPhone 7 and the phone became unresponsive. The screen was black, though it could receive calls. After taking the phone to the Genius Bar at the Apple store, they told me that replacing the screen would not fix the issue, and that I should get a new phone. The issue is I didn't back it up, and I have photos and data on there that I don't want to lose and first want to recover. But I can't connect my phone to iTunes and back it up now, because when I try to, though iTunes recognises the phone, it says "To allow access, please respond on your iPhone" - which I am unable to to do due to the unresponsive screen. Is there any way I can retrieve the data? I am hoping that because iTunes can recognise the phone, there must be some way of interfacing with it despite not be able to use the screen. I know my passcodes of course, though I'm unable to enter them at present. Am kind of desperate, as I have so many wonderful photos of my kids on there that I want to retrieve. | Posted: 11 Apr 2018 09:27 AM PDT One of my users is complaining about the mail app on iOS and I am at a loss on how to fix it (if there is even a problem). He says about 20% of the time, the mail app sends his message when hitting the shift key, the A key, or the Z key. He can't make it happen on demand, but says it happens all the time. I've replaced the phone with a spare and it still occurs. I've reset all settings in the phone and checked for any kind of text expansion. Phone is iPhone 6S (second phone is a 6). Running iOS 11.2.6. Email account is on an Exchange server, managed by MobileIron. Any ideas of what this could be? I've already asked him if he is fat-fingering the phone trying to hit the shift key, possibly hitting send with another part of his hand, but he swears he isn't. [link] [comments]  |

I tried charging it, I tried sending it to multiple service centers to get it fixed but they're saying it won't be fixed. I have a lot of data on it that I desperately need. Worried my iPhone has been hacked Posted: 11 Apr 2018 03:40 AM PDT Whenever I pull down the notification bar, the green bar at the top pops up for a second before disappearing again.. I've only noticed it for the past few days and have been careful not to use my phone for sensitive things. When I restart my phone, it stops doing it for a bit but then starts doing it again after a while. Still pops up even when I shut off all background apps (by this I mean double clicking the home button and swiping away the apps, I assume this is 'turning them off'). I have added a video where I was screen recording. The bar appears green first but then turns red due to me recording the screen.
